Here's the live stream with some of the cast answering questions. First half is a countdown wirh fun facts sprinkled through, with the latter half beeing the Q&A itself. I might watch it later and give some info that I found to be the most interesting from it, but here it is if you want to check it out yourself.

It’s most likely this. Thanks for the autistic info dump though. You described the Fujo coomer mindset well.
She's isn't just a Fujo Coomer, she's a political Fujo Coomer.
She may or may not feel guilty for being a coomer or liking yaoi shit, but it is typically choc-full of tropes and attributes she likes, but which her political side would consider a problem. For these two halves to co-exist so she has to compensate for her failing by lessening the severity of it or outright delude herself into making her vice a virtue which is the worst manifestation of coping for bad behaviour.
Less bittersweet and more tragic, the guy wound up killing himself.
I did say "only element" to the story, since it's the only aspect I can find which somebody might take catharsis in. He didn't get the satisfaction of being vindicated and he outright lied in his thesis to get to the conclusion he clearly created beforehand. Without that there's nothing nobody can take from it. It was a pointless experiment which nobody gained anything from.

Both of them died in rather sad circumstances. The main guy killed himself but his brother had died 2 years earlier overdosing on antidepressants.

Extra fucked up part is Money wanted to make transition less likely (or outright cure it) by getting rid of gender stereotypes, which is why despite being integral to their existence today (his experiment, which he lied about, is the soil in which modern trannydom grew from) trannies don't touch him with a 10 foot pole because besides the optics the ultimate aim of his work was to make fewer of them.

Are humans not made in God's image?
Yes, but a lot of your objection depends on how to interpret that. 'Made in God's image' can mean anything from the ability to manage the garden the way he would to we look like God (physically) to anything else.
Screw it, here's my top 5 songs this season.
-Gravity: Its only downside is that Lute does nothing this season and will be put on the backburner for S3.
-Brighter: I wouldn't mind getting the cast's human backstories through songs being more standard and Boyle kills it
-Love in a Bottle: I don't really care for Husk and I don't like how he's inevitably going to be paired with Angel, but the chorus and instrumental are fantastic
-Once we get up there: I feel like it's a bit underrated thanks to Gravity and Brighter also being fantastic villain songs, but it was an early favorite of mine and when I knew I was going to enjoy Vox this season.
-Hazbin Guarantee: The Vee segment obviously steals the show, and I don't think Charlie's segment is all that bad on it's own.

Honorable mentions to VOX DEI, it's so short that I don't consider it a proper song even if Vox telling Heaven to hang themselves was fantastic, and to Piss because while it's good from a music aspect and I like Pentious, this relationship came out of nowhere and with Cherri suffers the common Viv problem of a female character being nothing outside of their relationship.
What, no Clean it Up? That's easily the best song this season!
I take issue with that scene not because "OMG RAPE JOKE!" but it makes Angel, Husk, Niffty, and Cherri all look like assholes.
My problem with it is that we're supposed to take Angel's rapes and exploitation seriously, but when it's Pentious, it's just a big joke. Is rape funny or isn't it? Be consistent, Viv!

She doesn't even think it was a rape joke to begin with.

I'm very curious to see if she thinks what Val does to Angel Dust isn't rape. Like I don't think she's that stupid, but I have seen some wild takes in the fandom that because Angel signed a contract with Val that means it's all consensual.

This is literally the same argument people use to say that you cant rape your spouse or that marital rape doesnt exist.

please let viv say this it would be so fucking funny. amen

Would be funny if some retarded fight begins in "BDSM" circles, with "Do safe-words exist/are safe-words really safe" and other crap like that. I mean, this has fuck all to do with Hazbin, but it would be hilarious. Just like Angel being sad, only to be hit with a yaoi paddle afterwards.

Viv doesn't understand that not consenting to sex and the word rape mean the same thing apparently.

Yeah, it does seem like that with the whole situation of Stolas and Blitzø. The Mission Zero was supposedly supposed to recontextualize the start of their relationship, but after Stolas makes a creepy call to Blitzø, with Blitzø replying "maybe later", Stolas proceeds to break into his office at the place Blitzø work at and coerce him into fucking him. Blitzø pretty much only agrees to do it because it's the only way to get this horny demon prince off his back.

So, I guess it's technically not rape since there was consent, but it's still kind of messed up and shitty. It's like if a guy was constantly asking a girl to have sex with him. She says no the first 99 times, but by the hundredth says yes. It's less likely she actually wants to sleep with him, and more likely she's doing this in a hope that this will make him stop bothering her.

Fucking... what? How does that work? Why would he gamble at his own casino, what's the risk? It'd be all his money either way unless he plays something like poker against others, which he doesn't. Love in A Bottle shows him playing mostly roulette and slots.

And how was he surprised by Angel Dust working at his casino? This really feels like one of those "facts" a random crew member shat out without thinking about it and will bite them in the ass later because this makes no sense. Him owning a casino is fine, whatever, but the fact he gambles at it and doesn't know his close friend (and/or lover am I right) works there as a cross dressing singer is just nonsensical.

I mean yeah but that's... the point. This conflict is what the entirety of The Full Moon episode is about. Blitzo doesn't get why Stolas is giving him the crystal and taking away the grimoire. Why would he do that? Stolas just sees him as a sex object, right? He'd never actually be nice or have feelings about him so what the fuck?

They've got a fucked up, toxic relationship, yeah, but that is entirely intentional and meant to raise those kind of questions.

i can't believe we have to sit through 3 years of random porn to see my boy vincent become host of the hotel & lute become vaggie's assistant
viv, just draw the epic demon battles already jfc

It’s funny how Viv is better at drawing and writing action than she is at romance and coherent storyline.

Viv must come from those rapey cliques where consent of any kind (whether the person giving consent is doing so because they have zero inter-personal skills like Pentious or because of coercion) is 100% real consent and it cannot be withdrawn.

Turns out, the law takes this thing seriously. I decided to do a little searching and found a resource for teens that brings up coercion and the ability to withdraw consent, a lawyer's article about sexual assault via coercion (and how he can defend you from such accusations), and this article links coercion to a dark trinity of personality types exhibited by many lolcows.

Also, it looks like Pentious had withdrawn whatever 'consent' he'd given.

Regardless, the fine line for any creator in the modern world is where you continue to allow the story to unfold as it was meant to and where you decide to plug all of your kinks and fandoms shamelessly. So far, Hazbin has been pretty good at sticking to the plot, even if Vivzie has a kind of one-track mind when it comes to which kinds of trauma and sin she deals with.

Since I don't spend a lot of time engaging with the fandom for this show, I was pretty surprised when it turned out that Angel's sin was murder. Then again, I also figured that Pentious would turn out to have been a war criminal or something (maybe someone like Oppenheimer), but what do I know? I actually kind of liked the direction they took with Pentious, but I'm not sure about Angel. It feels a little run-of-the-mill to me.

Also since Alastor owns Huck's soul, won't that mean the casino is his? Or is ownership between a soul and a property separate?
