Hayden is likely not rolling around in dough considering he got in trrouble with the Tax Board. He probably thinks his own comedic genius is more than enough for Gen Zed's social media outlets.
Right then, so let me look at how Gen Zed's budget is a joke and that the money is probably going straight to Hayden Black or to paying for followers and bots, the thieving faggot:
1: No one is getting paid for this. NO ONE. At least according to Hayden Black. No paycheck = utter lack of one of the big costs of a show.
2: The show is essentially being done in Flash, which costs 200 dollars or so (or if you are like Hayden and a cheat, free via torrent)
3: They have no sound studio. If they did, then the lie that is this budget might hold a few drops of water rather than none. But I can tell they were doing this shit with mics you'd use for skype, so probably what they already owned, so 0 bucks.
4: 80% of Hayden's, Gen Zed, and even Julie last I checked are fake bots. This would possibly be the most expensive part of the venture, but since this stuff is usually outsourced, it tends to only cost at most a couple of hundred dollars.
So realistically, these fuckers are probably 99% over budget for what they have accrued. And knowing Hayden, that 99% is going to his pocket.
This might be the whole season, but this is beyond the British season length for a show that is 4-7 minutes long. I think this might add to the idea that Hayden Black of Gen Zed will quietly shelve this show, and then comes back next year with a new idea and claim this one was a modest success that you never heard of.

True, I forgot about the cons. However considering that Hayden Black has let two of his companies go under by not paying taxes, his company is probably just his house and him paying bills on it with money.
And my point with the animation still holds, the only change is the software. So correct what I said to 80% of the money for the show going to Hayden's pocket rather than 99%.

It appears some of the VAs are actually serious established actors who've had roles before.
Maybe they got paid to appear in this show, but Julie and co. didn't because they're complete nobodies.

I think Julie's delusion of being THE FIRST TRANS VA IN A LEAD ROLE HUEHUEHUE is her payment. Too bad she's not the first trans VA in a lead role, so she doesn't even get that much.
Considering that he describes all his shows as "It's like this show mixed with that show", rather than describing his own show itself, it wouldn't surprise me.
He handed them a pilot script for some deep, interesting show about transgender people that he stole, and then when they were already committed he just laughed and gave them the real Gen Zed script.
