Let me see: caps of their tweets, the same MSPaint-level art they post everywhere, some memes from Facebook, exploiting the hell out of the trans rights movement with the same tactics as their Tumblr, repeated pleas to to check out their store... Yup, still gonna say money grab.
A lot of the comments seem to be from bots. I wonder if they bought followers like they did for their Twitter?
If you know anything about Talibans or even about Muslim extremists at all , it's pretty easy to tell the people in that picture aren't religious fundamentalists, because there's a woman among them. And her hair is barely covered, even !
Then again, Gen Zed's Instagram has a lot of these stupid ganked-from-Facebook graphics, all without credit of course.
Is there a way to report them for posting pictures that aren't theirs?

I can't find much else on The Midnight Animal. It describes the animals as Divas, which does have a technical cultural distinction over there. It doesn't necessarily mean "transgender". Hayden may jump on that little tidbit, but again, if it does feature actual transgendered folks, then Hayden will either have to grasp at more, ever-thinner straws, move the goalposts, or admit it's just a total cash grab for the merch.

Maybe they've noticed people aren't buying the whole FIRST TRANS LEAD ROLE EVAR thing, seeing as a lot of people have brought up Maddie Blaustein et al. So they're probably trying not to put all their eggs in the same basket.

It's funny, because they're constantly trying to rebuttal our claims of them just cashing into the fact that they have "teh first trans lead in the history of teh world" by saying "there's only like 2 minutes of promo!!" buuuuut they've already gotten merch out and ready to sell despite this. If no one truly knows not of the nature of these characters, wouldn't they wait to try and start selling $25 worth of merchandise?

Holy shit, the tone of that article is so grating and condescending. You're not writing for an elementary school audience!
It's unnecessarily long too. You could sum it up as "Be supportive, try not to fuck up too much w/ names and pronouns, don't ask too many invasive questions", but no, they have to turn it into a sermon.
Plus, they use one of those ridic long acronyms " LGBTQIA+" which is always a sign that they're into tumblrqueer snoflawke politics.
Back on topic, yeah, Gen Zed tres really hard to milk the whole "gay/trans rights" thing, they even have a 'LGBT resources" tab on their website, even though in the end they're just trying to sell their shit. Blatantly exploitative is what it is IMO.
