I have to give them some credit. Stroke man and the horse faced tranny are keeping this up way longer than I thought they would.
Nahh, it's easy to claim to be working on something. It's all he's doing. Why do you think he just recycles his own jokes after all?

Project update.
So! Where’s the damn show? We said Dec 2015 and it’s now Jan 2016 and…nothing. Well, here’s the scoop.

None of us are doing Gen Zed as our first (or indeed only) job. This is a passion project and we are fitting it as best we can into our already very busy schedules (sadly, rents don’t pay themselves). Alex, our key designer/animator, has been utterly buried with his paid work and couldn’t deliver what he’d initially thought he could in the time he’d promised.

So to help us move forward at a much faster rate we’ve brought the “BIG little FX” animation studio on board. And no, that doesn’t mean Alex is no longer a part of the process - he very much is! He’ll be designing all the characters and general look of the show as well as doing all backgrounds and storyboards. But in even BETTER news, BIG little FX going to be doing the entire process in 3D! This doesn’t mean you’ll need special glasses to watch us; it’s a method of doing animation in a much more advanced manner. The Simpsons, for example, is done in 3D but they apply a special filter to it that makes it look 2D. Gen Zed will be made in the same way.

The contracts with BIG little FX were signed today and production will begin shortly. We hope to have the first episode finished by Spring and the full series will follow by Summer. We say “hope” because, again, this is a passion project and who knows what other obstacles will be thrown in the way.

But we will be delivering the series. The script was written and recorded in early 2015 - pretty much a year ago. And since launching our 2 minute trailer in May, we’ve nailed over 300,000 combined views on YouTube/Facebook; generated over 20 parody videos (some are 25 minutes long!!!), 2 parody Twitter accounts, rave reviews in the Huffington Post and the Advocate (to name just two) and we’re now officially listed on KnowYourMeme. We’re a meme! Off of just a trailer!!!

So hang in there - animation is notoriously long to produce and even longer when you’re doing it as a passion project. The show will be arriving later this year! And haters? SorryNotSorry.

Pew pew!!

Edit:

BIG little FX is the studio they've apparently gone with.
Six notes in six hours. Not exactly a deluge of attention.
Also, if Black hasn't considered releasing it as a podcast (e.g. voice-only), he's stupider than I thought.

That attention fizzled out Hayden. Your lack of understanding basic marketing is why you are in debt and will die a pauper.
Now, now---what if he makes it big with his comedy career?

Oh, uh. . .nevermind.

Have they animated anything of note?

Looking at their Demo Reel it seems they mostly do the opening credits and title cards for shows in Destination America, Travel Channel and National Geographic. There was some CGI animation in the video, but it was stuff you would see in "reenactments" of paranormal activity or forensic scenes. I saw nothing that implied Big little FX does any work in traditional animation on the scale of a full tv series.

Going off the website's blurb, sounds like Hayden dug up the cash to pay them to animate one 8 minute pilot. I'm betting he's banking on the episode being popular enough to make him enough to fund the rest of the series.

The pilot's all we're gonna get, is what I'm saying.

Why doesn't he just film it in live action? It'd be way less hassle and it's something Hayden's already familiar with. Really he knows jack shit about animation and writing, the only real hope the show has is making it into a shitty sitcom that has a sizable fanbase of braindead viewers like the Big Bang Theory.

Oh right, Hayden is a greedy dumbass.

Still ragging on the old animator, makin excuses for delays..

Late to the party, blah blah blah, but doesn't 3D take longer as well? They're switching to a different format, will have to create the models, run all sorts of test animations (at least, they should), animate the clothing (if that wording makes any sense), animate the hair, make sure nothing bugs out...

Not that 2D is a walk in the park as it can still be a pain and take a long-ass time, but I was under the impression that 3D would take longer since you have this additional work to do? (Especially if something bugs out.) Sure, he might have something of a team this time (I doubt it, though, given how the man lies through his teeth; it might just be one person doing all the work again), but it still probably isn't going to be "sooner" -- if ever. Granted, I'm not an animation expert so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

On the whole, there's less work to do if it was done in 3d. There's so many pre made assets for any program, plus motion capture data available and lip synch software that if hayden went in that direction from the start, the show would have had at least the pilot episode out by now.

Looking at BIG little FX's website (thanks @Orthodox Chrischanity), I don't see a mention of Hayden or anyone else involved with Gen Zilch in their list of clients...at the moment. Let's keep an eye on that in the next few days, shall we?
You probably won't see it. Studio websites like this update rarely, and put their most noteworthy clients up because the bigger names will get them more clients.

Studios like this get tons of clients for very small jobs. No real point in listing them.

I didn't know so much bullshit could be packed into such a small paragraph.

I wonder if the 3D animation will end up looking like Revolution 60.

Pew Pew.

Also, a question since i don't always look at this thread, why does that "JokeBlogger" twitter account keeps using Hayden's shitty jokes?, does he pay them or he also manages that account?

Because that would require him to know an actual black person.

He's hoping for South Park, but he's going to end up with The Amazing Bulk.

It's the other way around. Hayden is so incredibly inept he steals unfunny jokes from JokeBlogger. He can't even plagiarize correctly.
