What the fuck is Hayden playing at? No wonder he's bankrupt. Even his scams turn to shit.

Hayden tweeted that people should buy Gen Zed stuff- he doesn't understand that nobody owes him anything. Without even a small amount of content nobody would ever care about the merchandise. Why should I buy a t-shirt with character slogans if the show connected to them doesn't even exist. He can't even run his scams properly

26 friends - and one of them is Julie Goldstein. Now, there are two possibilities - either Miss Noble is a genuine fan, who decided to friend Julie on fb on account of Gen Zed - or she was already friends with Julie before Gen Zed came to be.

Yeah, I've an idea which one it is, too. However - looking through Julie's fb posts, I can't find a single comment or like by Miss Noble. Which suggests she's only recently friended Julie. Possibly on account on Gen Zed (which appears in her liked TV programmes - along with Goodnight Burbank). So not sure whether this girl is for real - or just a friend who agreed to model Gen Zed merch. Though I wouldn't blame her for drawing the line at those leggings another Kiwi pointed out earlier in this thread...

The animatic showed her tweets come up every now and again with a godawful laugh track playing alongside it. It's supposed to show what a "great" comedian Hayden Shona is. The topics of these tweets, though? Absolutely nothing to do with the show. Hayden's just reposting his joke attempts without even bothering to adapt the context.

For fuck's sake. I shouldn't have to state this, but having to push back deadlines is not a good sign of professionalism. At least pretend like you give a crap, Hayden.

I can understand if it got pushed back a month late or even a few months late. But this is ridiculous. Why does Hayden need so much extra time? And can he really afford it? The artist they hired is going to want their money, The voice acting is already recorded so Hayden has to pay them even if the series never sees the light of day, His Redbubble isn't doing too well, All the shows he has made are now cancelled and long forgotten, Hayden's Twitter bots have to cost a fair bit. And Hayden's USP of the trans-progressive thing really isn't paying off anymore. All the spastics who fell for the progressive bullshit have forgotten about Gen Zed and at this point nobody gives a shit. Hayden actually called it a 'progressive show' just to hammer home his marketing ploy to the special snowflake crowd. But even then it still only got 3 notes. Gen Zed's highest billings so far are as follows:

1: this thread
2: 'featured article' on Encyclopedia Dramatica
3: small section on Pasadena Weekly which can be summed up with "Wehh! Oppression!"
4: the promo they made which even those Michael Rosen edits have more views
5: Mary Sue article

Hayden doesn't have any fans or money, His project will fail. Looking at Hayden's updates for the show makes Gen Zed look like a train about to go off the rails; and at this point all we can do is watch it crash.

Nothing Hayden does is a good sign of professionalism. Reposting your own jokes constantly isn't a good sign of professionalism. Writing a horribly shitty Wikipedia on yourself isn't a good sign of professionalism. Lying about your accomplishments isn't. Having all your main people constantly quit because you're too cheap to pay them isn't. It goes on and on.
 
Christ. I haven't taken the time to read this entire thread yet but just looking at the first post is bad enough.

Setting aside that this show is pretty much nothing more than pandering to the tumblrina echo chamber, the art and the animation are terrible. And the character design sticks out as especially bad to me. As someone enrolled in an accredited art school studying things like good character design and writing I could give a whole critique of this monstrosity but I feel like the Cameron's droopy, lopsided eyes say everything.

This whole show is bad, and the production team should feel bad.

thanks! I'm definitely glad I'm not the only person who thinks this show is trash. It's honestly kind of disturbing that this is supposed to be a professional production, they even have merchandise on their site...
