Has anyone taken a look at their lead animator's webcomic?
It's not funny. It's not necessarily cringe-inducing, either. Paradoxically, however, it is funnier than Hayden. It also seems to be what's keeping Alex Bradley busy. Probably busier than making a cartoon with Photoshop.
Normally, a person like this has an echo-chamber of ass-patters telling him that what he's doing is good. But, Hayden and company don't have that. No one outside of the crew thinks this is a good idea, but they're still delusional enough to think it has a chance.

Why do all his characters look like bad bitstrip rip offs?
Someone needs to send this man to a life drawing class so he can learn what people are supposed to look like.
This comic was made on September 28th. A few weeks ago. Is this what we can expect from Gen Zed's animation? I guess you really do get what you pay for.
His incompetence at humor is the very thing that renders him unable to judge what's funny and what's not. It can happen to just about anyone in any skill, and the only real way around it is to accept and learn from the criticism of people more skilled than you. In other words, Hayden will never be funny.

Hayden Black actually emits a field that destroys humor and comedy anywhere near him. You could take something scientifically proven to be funny and Hayden Black delivering it would render it sepulchrally unfunny. And then he'd say "Pew! Pew!" Which is the least funny thing ever said by anyone in the history of ever.

Hayden Black is essentially an anti-Midas in that respect; his touch takes any joke (and boy does he love cribbing/stealing those all the livelong day) and makes them nonmedy.
Every time we get closer to the supposed air date it gets pushed back a month.
Right now they're saying December but I'm sure once we get halfway through November it'll get pushed back to 2016
Gen Zed is currently in production according to the creators. But the release date is getting pushed further and further back, so there's a possibility that it is a scam.
Either that or Hayden doesn't know what work ethic is, I'm banking on a combination of both.
Currently all that is available is the trailer--well not really, unless they got it back up again--and the store full of shit merchandise.
I think he might be giving up on Gen Zed because he didn't bother re-uploading the trailer or even removing the dead links on his pages. He's probably having trouble with the single animator, it looks more and more like they can't complete so much as the pilot, let alone any other episodes. And it looks like even trolls aren't tweeting about it anymore.
He's probably going to drop it like he did for his other projects: a website, a few mentions on some blogs, one single video and then nothing.
Maybe the Gen Zed social media accounts are going to go the way of the Goodnight Burbank ones, existing only to endlessly repost and like Hayden's posts .
