Acceptance and respectability is something no tumblrite wants as it gets in the way of being a special snowflake. A shows primary revenue stream is merchandise and ad time. There's no profit to be had from courting the Tumblr/SJW crowd. It either blows up you in your face, loses you lots of money, or both. For example:

Ghostbusters [current year]: Heavily marketed itself toward the feminist crowd, starring plain-to-ugly women in baggy clothing, and insisted that anyone who didn't like it or watch it has a woman-hating rape addict. Got blasted out of the water by Suicide Squad, a film featuring a hot woman in skimpy clothing. Sony is taking $70 million hit so that Paul Feig could enjoy his fetish of getting humiliated by women.

Sunset: A wannabe "Gone Home" game that gave $40,000 to Leigh "My blood is 150 proof" Alexander to shill it to the SJW circlejerk. It bombs so hard, the game development company went down in flames, cursing Leigh and video games as the company dissolved into ash.

Marvel: Put out comics starring Angela where the villain is a woman-hating strawman that spewed stuff like "[unsolicited opinions on Israel???]". (Yes, seriously). Got canned soon after for shit sales.

Steven Universe: It actually does well, and isn't exclusively catered to SJWs, but the Tumblr population has tried to co-opt it hard. Recently these "fans" have declared that show's creator (a bisexual woman dating a black man) and her staff (mostly non-white and female) are "problematic", "sexists" (wut?), "racists" (double wut?), "homophobes" (triple wut?), and even "child molesters" (holy shit these Tumblr kiddies are fucking R-Tards) because the creators told these fucktards to stop harassing a teenage girl to suicide because she drew a fat character as thin, and more recently because a new character was punished for trying to "kill her oppressors". Because the true moral of Steven Universe is to kill 'em all, apparently.

All true, but in addition, it's worth remembering that the golden rule of pandering to someone for cash is to make sure they have any.
The primary issue that comes with shilling to tumblrtards is that there's nothing to shill for. Tumblrinas/SJWs/other social revolutionaries tend to rely entirely on their parents for money, or are extremely poor 20 somethings. Thus, they'll offer a great deal of praise for projects that please them, but lack the means to actually support it in any way that would have impact. You'll get compliments, then go broke.
There's a reason nobody markets products towards the homeless.
That's the real issue that comes with trying to monetize projects like Gen Zed, Assigned Male, ect. Your audience isn't reliably bankable to the extent that it's worth the effort, and they'll crucify you the second you minimally offend them, often for little-understood reasons.
It's just not a demographic that's worth the effort or money to please, and history has demonstrated that they'll fuck you for trying.

Anyways, have you had any contact at all with Hayden recently? Talked to him, he talked to you, retweeted him, anything like that? Do you have contact information for him, even?

Not really. It's his project and his IP. I'd love to see it get made, but it's not the end of the world to me. I'm too busy working on other projects, making a living and training for races to be that emotionally invested on a personal level.

Yea. RunDisney gave me motivation to start physically testing myself. So far I've done 4 10K + Half Marathon back to back challenges this year with the 5th coming in 2 weeks. I'm also ramping up my training right now to be ready enough to handle the toughest one in January. It's Dopey Challenge. 4 Days - 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Full Marathon.

I wanna say you guys documented some of my race pictures much earlier in this thread.

@JulieRei we are actually incredibly respectful of people's personal lives unless they are

A) Terrible people

B) Incredibly exceptional individuals who get insanely angry very quickly
