So black guy is trying to build a robot to love him (not even a fuckbot, just an OS) that's incredibly pathetic.

Cis white guy still sounds like the most interesting, despite all their attempts to put the attention on the trans/poc characters. He's probably going to turn out to have some horrible secret and it'll be a very special episode, like he's a hooker or something, but for now I'm going to imagine he's a spy.

I like to imagine Huey was raised in a Quiverfull household and acts edgy and psycho to compensate.

Don't you know that all "harassment" on the internet is linked to Goober Gate

Also you guys missed the best part
View attachment 45989

g*mergate did literally everything wrong gib mony for harassments pls

More info about the characters:

Trans Mary Sue is still a Sue.

Token Black Guy is the least annoying but boring.

Allegedly Psychotic Strawman is probably gonna check his privilege.

Asian Girl is a Amy Wong expy with 2quirky clothes.

I'm gonna guess Quilliam is either a otherkin or actually gamergate. I hope he's a troll.

If I read "pew pew" one more time...

This is from the tumblr. They just posted it. Here's the link they put up.

Confirmed for having just deliberately trolled the chans and astroturfed, solely to get "harassed" so they could then use it to sell shitty merch for something that will never be aired, and when it fails, will blubber baby tears about cishet dudebros killing something that was just too good for the world.

If there is a site NEVER to link to, this clickbait shithole the mary sue is one of them.

Problem Solverz speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter for me, though I can get behind the "so bad it's good" vibe.

I didn't know it was intended for Adult Swim. Was it rejected from there or something? That'd be hilarious if the programming block that hosts such quality programming as Family Guy and The Heart, She Holler rejected Problem Solverz.

All I can say is Problem Solverz made me laugh out loud more than once during the show's run.

Generation Zed will probably fail to do that.

I suspect some laughs from the imminent flood of salty tweets.

I forgot to write about this in the dobson thread, so I'm spoilering some off topic stuff:

So, there's this guy I call the anti-Dobson. He's a conservative, and for quite a long time, his name was "Andrew Dobson". He changed his name to "Dodson" for whatever reason.
Here's the tweet with the anti-Dobson:

EDIT: Look what I found:

I've been messing around with the designs a bit, mostly because I was bored.
Anyway, here they are, Zed Gen:

Now without permission of the website, let me copy paste explain the original characters (donut steel) background:

What makes the show extra-special (you know what kind of "special" I mean by this point) is that it’s the first animated comedy EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD to feature a Trans actress in a lead role. That’s Shona, 19, and she wants to be a stand-up comedienne, don't tell her she's not a female though, or she'll punch you right in the dick you transphobic male sheep.

Betsy – 22. Asian-American Trustafarian. Heir to millions. Hooked on prescription drugs. And up-and-coming fashion designer. Or at least, she WAS, because it wasn't long before she started doing the hard stuff. Once her parents and the legal system caught up with it, her trust fund was lost and now she whores herself for drugs. Sometimes Shona buy some drugs and see how far Betsy goes to get them, like putting them inside the toilet after everyone takes a dump, lol fun times.

Generic Black Guy - age. He's a black dude, nobody knows why he's here anyway, the crew sometimes call him "rap" and "hip hop", don't pay attention to him anyway.

Huey – 23. Psychopath. Hates people. Be VERY careful around him. Although for some reason he seems to actually be a nice guy around everyone else except Shona and Betsy, I'm pretty sure it's because he consider them his real friends.

Mr. Jiminez – 52. The landlord. A huge dick. The less said, the better. Who he thinks he is asking us to pay the rent?, fuck him and his fucking healthy life style, he's the biggest douchebag when he tries to talk us like if he's our dad and give us advice, fuck you, you're bald and stupid, being "nice" and "sporty" is not for your type of people, go back to Mexiconistan.
----
I tried to redesign Huey, but to be fair, he seems to be the only sane character in Gen Zed. He's not a drug addict like Betsy; he's not pushing his gender all over the place like if he deserves a medal for it, like Shona; he's not a self proclaimed loser who doesn't makes the least of effort to actually change his situation, like Cameron... so yeah, if I were Huey and I had to spend time with those guys, I'd be really pissed off too.

Oh well, all we had to do next is to wait until the show actually debut and we might have more material to do some stuff.
I love the redesigns.
However, is it possible to make the Trans Character ADF? We already got kind of an asian Rika vibe going with Asian Chick, why not complete it?

Doing some research, and it turns out that there is an animated series that has a trans lead, and it aired in 2011. The show is called Wandering Son, and the main protagonist is boy who wants to be a girl, and focuses on gender identity and puberty. More info here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wandering_Son

And, from where I learned about this show from (https://www.reddit.com/r/asktransge...n_zed_the_first_animated_series_to_feature_a/), Wandering Son is actually very well recived in transgender circles, while this series is reciving criticism from people in the same link.

The best is the guy at the bottom right corner. He looks completely on drugs.
(Also his neck bends more than a Shaft Head Tilt)

From an artistic standpoint, the background is pretty nice. It's like someone took a lovely drawing of a family's living room and shat all over it.

It's not quite as overtly about transgenderism as Wandering Son, but, if you go back to the 1970s, there's Rose of Versailles (a.k.a. Lady Oscar), which was trans-themed in a historical setting. (Here's the first episode of the anime version of Riyoko Ikeda's groudbreaking manga, uploaded legally to Youtube courtesy of Nozomi Entertainment.)

Rose of Versailles is one of the seminal and most influential shoujo manga and anime ever, and it's been adapted into stage musicals starring the crossdressing (female as male) Takarazuka troupe. It was also a heavy influence on Kunihiko Ikuhara's similarly genderfluid Revolutionary Girl Utena (which, from what I understand, in turn influenced Steven Universe in some ways).

Well that's true, the "color pencil" style is not particularly bad, and seems consistently decent across various scenes. The problem is how jarring it looks compared to the flat-color, thick-lined characters in motion. It's like two different styles clashing there. One is good, the other is terrible.
