What old country does Old Country Buffet even refer to? Does it mean it's a country style buffet that's also old and therefore familiar, or did it come from another country/period of this country and they're referring to the one they came from? Is it a country buffet that's old, or a buffet that comes from the old country?

Either way the few times I've been there there's been a lot of black people and fats, and those are both demographics that in large number present the notion that an establishment isn't to be frequented by urbane white folk. Keep your hot fudge sundae.
