My parents have a cat named "Squishy" because she loves being squished. When you pick her up, she immediately goes "boneless", basically becomes a puddle of cat held together by skin. You squish her, and she purrs and smiles. She's a special needs cat, so she's a little "different". But you could sit and squish her all day, and she'd be in 7th heaven.

Ragdoll cats got that name because they become completely relaxed when you hold them.
Maybe your parents' cat has some ragdoll genes in her.

Feed her earwax.
Yes, I'm serious.
LOL I'd try it if I could find her. The room she's hiding out in is paradise for cat that wants to not be found, several tables with boxes under them form a kind of labyrinth that is perfect for her to hide out in. I put some wet food, catnip and her litter box just out side the door, she pokes out whenever I'm not in that part of the house to use them.

I caught her behind one of the couches in the living room and tried to talk her into coming closer but she was not having it.
