Late 00s in middle school I got into music downloading and used those stupid aggregator websites that collected Rapidshare/Mediafire links, some banner or pop-up ad there gave my computer I shared with my parents one of those fake antivirus programs, but fortunately I fixed the problem within the afternoon with no issue and never again browsed the internet without an Adblocker.

Oh yeah. When I was younger and much more tech naive I’d use shit like Limewire to pirate music and get games and movies off sketchy torrent sites (isohunt) ended up giving my computer super AIDS
