As an aside, psychologically speaking, shocking a dog for misbehaviour is not 'negative reinforcement'. It's positive punishment.

Positive reinforcement is providing a reward for good behaviour, like a treat for a dog that obeys an instruction. Negative reinforcement is removing something as a reward for good behaviour, like removing something that would ordinarily happen but isn't desirable. Positive punishment, or just 'punishment' is adding something undesirable in order to discourage a behaviour, like smacking a child. Negative punishment is taking a pleasurable stimulus away, like 'no dessert' if you don't finish your dinner.

My mistake on the phrasing. It's very early for me and few things trigger me harder than a bad pet owner. :heart-empty: Regardless a man who relies on pain in order to train their pets is one of the biggest red flags possible.

I'm avidly awaiting the newest puff pieces about Hasan akshually being a huge doggie lover, and than checking the articles and 90% of will be lusting for him, how muscular or handsome he is, 9% will be about Palestinians and the Genocide, only 1% will be about Hasan throwing a birthday party for Kaya in one or two sentence. The author will be either a dried up 40+ years old wine aunt or a very lispy gay man.
 
Everyone is focused on the zapping but the multiple clips of his unhinged reactions to Kaya trying to move off the bed is what's sticking for me. Immediately swings on her mid-sentence, frustrated and pissy as if she's in the middle of destroying his room. It's crazy even if he didn't correct her with the collar. Any time I've seen a streamer with their grift-animals, they don't pay attention to the comings and goings because it is insane and unnatural to get upset at an animal for taking a single step in a way you don't like.
She avoids meeting his gaze the way guilty dogs do, she thinks she is a bad dog that only does bad things.
His cult doesn't surprise me at all since their core beliefs include blaming the helpless and vulnerable for letting themselves get victimized, but it is funny that he's from a region that seems to really love dogs.
