It's not about how good or bad the other side is in their political views. It's about it being antiwest, and anti-american. I remember him talking about it when the Russia Ukraine thing first started popping off. He is very pro-Russia in that conflict.

Really it goes into the whole "the issues is never the issue" thing with marxist. They just leveraged intersectional identity politics, to get communist ideals in the door. That is a big part of why none of it actually seems to make sense, when you aren't looking at it through that lense. The real thing underneath all of it, is socialism/communism. They take advantage of whatever oppressor vs oppressed narative they can in order to give communism as the answer to the problem.

Like if you know that black guy that was involved in the Idubbz content cop. The one where there is a clip of him saying "if all the people that said the n-word died, we would have socialism by now". it really gives a good glimpse into the line of thinking these people have.

So in the case of Ukraine and russia, it's not about it actually making sense. It's just that the US or west to them is viewed as the evil imperialist oppressors. So if it isn't alligned with the western, capitalist worldview, then that is the side they will always support.

Which is not uncommon among tankies, for what it's worth. It's very possible he adopted those ideas at face value from others in the same community who are more committed but equally retarded, and he has no real attachment to them or deeper knowledge of what they mean.

Splitting hairs by defining what kind of ultra-retarded faggot he is, I know, but the distinction between disingenuous and delusional is important when you're talking about one of the least educated opinions ever put to paper (which again, could apply to most tankie opinions, I know).

Oh I know. All of the genuine tankies hate Hasan and think he is a grifter who doesn't believe in any of it. Streamers like Hasan and Vaush are part of a wave of content creators that came in and adopted the language and terminology while watering down the beliefs for wider audiences, which is why they rose to become popular. Ironically a lot of the true believers end up getting banned because they sperg out and push the harsher parts of their beliefs which are a natural logical conclusion of what their worldview entails.

I still am not convinced he actually cares about communism. Besides being the quintessential champagne socialist. He really doesn't seem to walk the walk. Everything he does is performative. It's obviously just a show of being a socialist/communist. If he wanted, he has the money, and power to start actually doing things to spread the means of production. Definitely a lot more than he does.

The only way I could see an arguement against that, is if he knows he can do that, but doesn't because what he wants is people to be unhappy enough to actually start a revolution, and destroy the capitalist system. And by having his own commune (or multiple) within the capitalist system, would be an actual answer that doesn't involve tearing everything down, and if people realized they can actually do that if they want it would destroy the momentum to an actual revolution.

Of course, having a commune would mean you actually have to put in real effort. Like organizing, getting land, working the land to get food, etc. And no matter what he actually believes I know for sure he is way too lazy to do any of that. This is Hasan "streaming is harder than a real job" Piker after all.

Anyway. I just think he's a grifter that does whatever fills the niche, and makes money. idk.

Sadly as of earlier of this year the government changed their mind on this one, they will be culling stray dogs en masse. I do wonder if it's been enforced because Turkey had been getting more radical because of its neighbors.
In light of this change, the US should ship Hasan in a fursuit back to Turkey
