He just doesn't know how to act around a dog. He only seemed to tolerate it when it was a little puppy and was genuinely surprised that a dog of that breed would get so large. He likely doesn't even wash its fur or attempt to groom it a little (even just brushing and the occasional shampoo would be ok).

Barking is another classic example of a behavior that is super hard to tackle via positive reinforcement.

You actually have to teach the dog TO BARK with 'speak' first (you teach that one with intentional frustration to make them bark at you) so that you can work on it (though not if your dog barks all the effing time at nothing). You get them barking like mad and as soon as they stop for a second you say "quiet" and feed them something good (hotdog, lunchmeat, cheddar, human quality smelly food). Then you just keep doing it, expecting longer and longer gaps. Every day, 20 times a day, longer and longer. Also make sure to pair it with a 'shhh' hand sign, they are way better at body language than actual language.

It's a hard one though, mine knows what I want in a controlled environment but in practice doesn't care... the presence of the delivery guy or a trash bear outside at 2am is just too damn concerning.
 
At this point LA County Animal Control needs to visit the house and take that animal away to be put down. I don't know what they'll do about Kaya though, hopefully they can find her a good home.

It's at the same time the dog yelps so it's kind of hard to notice but it's a very faint buzz that I'm pretty sure is from him pressing the button on the remote. When I was a kid there was a brief stint where family members tried training a dog with a shock collar and it had a similar high quiet whine.

Also I found out recently modern collars have vibrate and beep settings on top of just the shock, but neither of those hurt a dog to the degree they'd yelp like that.

You can see an example of one of these types of collars being used in a "not shocking the shit out of the dog" way here where a guy uses the beep to tell the dog to go inside and it instantly catches the clue.

Those collars are meant to emulate another dog doing a scolding neck bite, I don't think any dog owner should be using them... If there's a place for them and that's debatable it'd be rehabilitative training for a dog that's fucked up or not socialized.

What pissed me off about Hasan is that he is such a fake asshole. Whenever I think if the Turks or the Muslims around that area, I always think of a group that is hyper image focused and you can see it in the way Hasan dresses, how he interacts, the cars he drives, etc.

Its like his entire existence is a performance, that he is nothing but an empty animal abusing and narcissistic shell once you strip everything away.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he's using a shock collar on his dog and it does look like it, but what's annoying is seeing normie posters on X and other social media stating it as fact. If it turns out this isn't true or if he can weasel out of it then it will give Hamas Piker far more ability to weasel out of other things.

It is the nature of sheep to follow a shepherd. Hasan is "strong" in the sense that he is loud and angry, saying and doing things that resonate with his audience who fear the consequences of doing the same thing themselves.

Then he does something like this, and for a little while some members of his audience may look around and say "hey, he shouldn't be doing that". Some may even decide this is the "last straw" and leave in search of someone else; a precious few may even come to their senses and realize that a person who spews hatred and mistreats his pet isn't the type of person who should be idolized at all--but the vast majority of his followers have had their consciences seared to the point where they will - after making their outrage known, of course - settle back into their seats and continue watching docilely.
