Can't watch too many Hasan videos (not even critiques about him) because he's so insufferable but from what I've seen, the amount of times he brings up rape (or date rape) and accuses random conservative youtubers of doing it tells me it might be something he's done in the past. I have never seen someone bring up rape so randomly, even as a joke. Having that type of skeleton on his mind tells me it may be hiding in his own closet (and the brothel thing seems adjacent to that, as well as his old 'bro tip' videos about how to make women have sex with you).

(Unfortunately can't recall the video I saw, since it was a year ago, and I don't want to lose brain cells by looking for it again.)

What does hasan know about anime? It's just one piece this one piece that. Granted modern tranime discourse is shit but still hasan doesn't know anything outside of politics. Even in politics he probably doesn't know anything outside of news propaganda which is why he has never gone on debates. To be completely charitable to hasan even if he doesn't deserve it, in the first trash taste episode he said he watched captain tsubasa as a child in turkey, dubbed in Turkish. But he still goes for the one piece shit which means he's grifting, even with the anime shit. I don't really mind people grifting off politics but I hate media grifters viciously, the people who endlessly try to profit off shows movies games and the like while knowing fuck all about them. I see a lot, I mean A LOT of channels in the single digit viewers for popular things like Dead By Daylight. If they don't care about the money, fine, because they definitely aren't getting any. In general 90% of the viewers end up watching the top 10% of streamers, because most people equate other viewers as a mark of quality. It *is* possible for any untrained talent to rise, but there has to be a likeable(or in Hasan's case hateable) personality and talent to actually pick up and grow an audience.

I think Hasan has the social skills to build an audience, but he's also a lazy fuck and largely just siphoned viewers off his time at TYT. Asmongold grew larger from a much more niche origin, creating new ways to play World of Warcraft like the Mount-offs, and experimented with variety from there. There's a lot more to learn from baldy's rise to relevance than Hasan's.
 
After getting to know more about these Breadtuber sorts, especially Hassan and Destiny, they are the embodiment of Frowning Friends. Screaming nonsense confidently garners a crowd I guess.

Its 90% watch the top .01% of streamers. You would have better odds hitting the lottery than hitting it big streaming and an extreme longshot simply getting a minimum wage salary nowadays through streaming.
 
The one thing I find even more insufferable than Hasan is his orbiters - namely Denims, Frogan etc. This might be a bit of a derail but their streams are basically both Hasan waiting-rooms so I feel like the most applicable place to bitch about these two retards is here. Denims is pretty much discount Keffals in terms of rage-baiting except I will give her one point in that Denims is actually a woman. The shit Denims pulled with the Ethan Klein CPS arc was heinous and I don’t even like Ethan Klein or H3H3. Hasan cultivates the most annoying community and as long as you say “free palestine” or whatever you have free reign to say the most unhinged shit online apparently.
