It's likely Hasan is protected from a lot of consequences because he's controlled opposition, basically funneling all the young people predisposed to leftist uprising and terrorism, and instead of mobilizing them he just has them watch mainstream media while his empty chair babysits the stream, and complaining about the system without even bothering to vote. There is some truth to what he said. The case was settled, not totally damning. I Also pointed out that they're not the only one to "defraud medicare". At this point it's more a feature of medicare that hospitals and everyone else is trying to take as much as possible.
