Hasan is like the ottoman empire. I know this sounds retarded but hear me out.
The Ottoman Empire was on a clear decline for years, and everyone believed it was only a matter of time before it was conquered. Indeed, it came close to falling many times. During the Greek War of Independence, the British and French intervened not only to aid Greece but also to limit Russia's influence and prevent the Ottomans from losing too much power. The most notable example of Western intervention came during the Russo-Turkish War of 1877–1878. The Russians advanced to the gates of Istanbul and would likely have captured the city had the British and French not stepped in to stop them. Lastly, Muhammad Ali Pasha and his Egyptian army soundly defeated the Ottomans on multiple occasions, but once again, the Ottomans called on the West for assistance to survive.
This mirrors Hasan, he has come so close to being banned but somehow never does. He has been on a huge viewer decline for years yet somehow manages to bounce back. I think the reason for his initial decline and the reason for his recent bounce back is something I talked about in the past. Basically it is a sign of the liberal progressive and Marxist socialist coalition. During the Trump years upon Hasan's initial rise. Basic bitch shit lib progressives were more tolerant of socialist seeing them as a necessary evil to defeat Trump who they say as a fascist dictator. When he got voted out (you don't vote out dictator just saying) they had felt like they had won and could now worry about the flaws people like Hasan have. With Trump winning again these libs think that project 2025 will make America handmaid's tail again and that corpos will use greedflation to bring about late stage capitalist or whatever reddit narrative they have boughten into next week so Hasan is now a necessary evil to defeat fascism !!!!!!! Just like when Thor worked with Loki to defeat Thanos in the MCU guys !!!
There is another parallel to be drawn with the ottoman comparison.
The British and French support for the Ottomans seemingly made no sense. Both nations had previously taken territory from the Ottomans—most notably British-controlled Egypt and French-controlled Algeria. The Ottoman Sultan never officially renounced these possessions, implying that he still hoped to retake them one day. Moreover, the Ottomans were a literal caliphate that oppressed Christians, while Britain and France—though increasingly secular—still claimed to be Christian nations. The stated justification of stopping Russia also lacked strong logic, as Russia posed no direct threat to Britain or France. Nevertheless, Western paranoia about Russia was never entirely rational.
I will just say what I mean here, I think the reason Hasan gets so much leeway from the establishment despite the fact he is on paper a threat to it (like the ottomans were to the west) is because the establishment is afraid of the "alt right" or the "far right". As to the exact reason the elite fear the far right as opposed to someone like Hasan who on paper represents a great material threat to them, that is a longer conversation about Kar popper, the open society and the never again mantra that the post war world order is built on.
