I saw a female redditor insinuate that Japs were victims of "colonization" because Westerners called them Yellow (a slur among Anglos, but still PC in other languages) and dropped those bombs. Completely ignoring the Japs own brutal empire, avoiding actual European colonization, xenophobic/racist stances against foreigners/immigrants, and ignoring many of Japan's Brown neighbours having different opinions about them. I think I was the first one to bring up the idea of Hasan losing relevance. I admit I didn't think about the fact he had a huge boom in 2020, I didn't think about the rise of Kick.

Another factor could be that Hasan clearly has a younger audience let's be real. I think a lot of his kid fans are outgrowing him or will soon.

To be as charitable as possible, it's possible that they took time into consideration. All of Vaush's age of consent takes were years ago and he has apologized. Hasan's Taiwan statements just happened.

I didn't give a fuck about this event and I am neutral on Taiwan.
