Garnt seems ok, and his wife doesn't seem too bad besides being a degenerate. Joey, I don't know what to make of him, but he's a lolicon so he'll probably end up in prison for something eventually, especially since he acts like a child at his age which should be a red flag, as often times that's to lure in kids.

I thought Connor would have ended up being more normal than Joey because he had a job outside of Youtube, similar to Garnt originally, but I guess with him and Chris being British, the brain rot had to set in eventually. I will always like Garnt. His content quality hasn't dropped one bit, and he seems like a nice guy to talk to, had a humble upbringing, all that. That and he's married, which automatically knocks a few marks off the degen meter for me.

Joey is a asshole, lolicon, and his content sucks. Would not want to meet him. Conner seems... like a brick is in place of his brain. Easily led. Which is why I'm not surprised Hasan has influence over him.

Him 'living' in Japan simply entails him leeching of society by making money through ranting about capitalism all day and making money that way. East Asian societies despise people like him, and if he actually works like the rest of us do he'll run back to America in no time. And the matter of fact is, he probably CAN'T live there forever since he doesn't speak Japanese in any meaningful capacity and is a disrespectful brat. Japan and the rest of EA is only stable the way it is because people there, for the most part, know their place in society better than people like Hasan Abi and the rest of the modern youth in the west.

And just to add to it all, of course Capitalism works anywhere if you have the ability to make millions by screaming in front of a screen all day. Even if the country has the shittiest labour laws imaginable you'll never really feel it since you never really work. He's just cherry picking because he's an insufferable weeb. If anything Capitalism works better in America than it does in most of East Asia. America has better labour rights, far lower work hours and far higher wages. And unlike most of our countries America's economy isn't declining like a wheel of cheese rolling down a slope.

My prediction is similar. Garnt is the sensible one while Connor is an LA dick sucker. I remember him talking a bit about gentrification with a vtuber, and when said vtuber expressed her desire to remain non political, he asked his chat where the vtuber equivalent of Hasan was. So it's pretty obvious Connor thinks Hasan actually knows anything about politics or economics, which we all know isn't true.

Out of every single Anituber, every one, Garnt he has managed:
-To have a real fucking job
-Give up on YouTube only to come back because he realized his job was ass

I only made it through the first video but I don't really understand how Hasan exists as a left wing YouTuber.

He does a couple of impersonations/parodies of Japanese people, and then relates a story of how they had to wait outside a yakitori place because they don't like foreigners and wouldn't seat them if they all walked in at once. And he starts gushing over how awesome it is that they're xenophobic against white people (he's counting himself as white) and rambles on and on about how fantastic it is to experience anti-white racism and how it's cool that he was denied entry to nightclubs because of his race.

When his chat bring up the Japanese are racist to all foreigners, not just white people, he says "yeah, yeah, no they're xenophobic, yeah, for sure but like so what, what do you mean. They do like equal opportunity racism, does that make it better? Like I don't understand. Anyway".

So in this three minute clip he does a racist impersonation of Japanese people, fetishises the experience of racial discrimination while treating it as a fun tourist experience, praises racism as cool and dismisses any concerns people of colour may have about racial discrimination while explicitly praising Japanese people for being racist.

Surely that's enough to get someone cancelled these days?

Maybe it's because I've watched him a long time, growing up, before I fully got into animu; trust me, he has gotten better. The Fate video alone is a treasure. Has he changed a little? Yeah, he don't say faggot no more. Other than that.... literally nothing else. He's not a political channel, I give him the pass because the man is the Atlas of anitube, holding the whole thing on his shoulders. He's always there, everyone knows him, and trust me- there are far worse options to represent the weebs. He actually enjoys what he does, still watches anime, unlike fucking Joey.
 
Coming from visiting the place a few times, Japan is a really good place to live if you had the money and just want to be left alone. Your perception is warped when you're staying at a hotel, big or small, because so much shit is covered for you that you don't realize is different compared to the US. And the way he photographs stuff makes me realize he probably is under 6'. That anarchist cafe he stood in front of, a lot of the doors over there are often 6', maybe a few inches higher, because a lot of places are grandfathered out of modern building standards. I think I was told at a bar there by an older businessman that 180 cm is a standard thing there because at best they would be 5'8". I'm 6' 3" and had to drop my head in quite a few non major commercial places on side streets to get in, and bumped my head a few times going up stairs at subway exits around places like Asakusa. Your range of motion is not what was factored in when these shops and restaurants were designed for. That's why he puffs his hair up in this faggy zoomer style, and wears baggy shirts to hide the fact he's much more a twig who injected some muscle onto him as opposed to being naturally athletic build who put muscle on top.
