They're trying really hard to make Hasan the masculine face of the left, but it only works until you hear him speak, or see him wearing a dress.

This is why the whole “the left needs a Joe Rogan” narrative is dead on arrival. Most ordinary people do not need a clone or a fake representative of what they think is rational and moderate as far as politics go.

Regardless of their knowledge of America politics or geo international politics, most people do not like frauds or phony people.

This article is such hot garbage. Hasanabi's chat is indistinguishable from a 2017 era alt-right grifter's chat. The difference is one's sometimes funnier and most of the time the posters don't mean it. Go guess which one.

Is it just me or is Hasan just being slow cooked by the right to eventually unveil as "here is what all Democrats actually believe"? He's the perfect posterchild for a champaign socialist strawman to parade out when needed.

...

Who am I kidding? Nobody on the right thinks that far ahead.

First meal at 2:00pm? That more likely means he gets up at that time. I could describe myself as 'fasting' back when I was a college student because I usually didn't eat until after noon because until then I was asleep after partying.

This is the future of the political Left, bear in mind. Their take away from their most comprehensive defeat in modern history is to platform and fete more scummy out of touch idiots like this because they've tried nothing and are now out of ideas.

The total ignoring of Hasan by the right's institutional media is either evidence of their total retardation or part of some long-running conspiracy to do something like what you say. He's a guy with connections to the most retarded leftists in our federal government who has said and done things that would cause huge blowback. It's such low-hanging fruit to ask AOC or Bernie Sanders why they do interviews with a guy who praises 9/11, justifies the murder of Jewish babies, goes to brothels shut down for trafficking underage girls, etc.

I'm starting to think they ignore him because Twitch is owned by Jeff Bezos and they're all on the Amazon dole. All it would take to eliminate Hasan's presence on the Internet is one Trump tweet asking why Amazon funds a guy who wants Jewish babies to be killed, praises 9/11, and incites violence against multiple Republican senators. You can put together 10 minutes of his greatest hits if you wanted.

If I were Rick Scott, I'd be pushing for Congress to subpoena Jeff Bezos and then ask him to his face why he funds such a violent cretin. It's beyond cucked that Rick Scott hasn't done anything at all to that end, if only as a strategic move to take down a person with huge influence over a certain segment of terminally online young people. This type of retardation and cuckery is why leftist havens like Twitch can get away with their bullshit.

This is the best thing the NYT has done in a long while.

Here's an additional Ghostarchive of the article: https://ghostarchive.org/archive/LnUuE

And probably the highest quality you can get the image (removing "?quality=75&auto=webp" from URL), archived separately:

Nvm, this is even better, at 1800x2699 instead of 1367x2048:

Now you can enjoy those chicken breasts in true HD clarity.

Megalodon fails on the article, Wayback Machine seems to be cut off before getting to that image.

Here are a couple more clips from that Awk20000 account regarding the NYT article.

Someone in Hasan’s chat (I’m assuming a New York Times employee) tells Hasan to get excited for his upcoming puff piece that they already read a draft of

Hasan pretends that the editorial board might write negatively about him

The puff piece from the NYT comes out tomorrow

So it looks like the NYT puff piece might have been a Hasanabi head collaboration

A New York Times editor was in his chat the other day feeding him info about his upcoming article

The article writer also follows Hasan’s fan accounts

Bonus clip of Hasan encouraging unreserved support of Hamas.

Hasan implores his audience to not “yield” when people ask them if they love Hamas

Worries that AOC would “100%” fall into the trap of condemning the organization

“I’m afraid that she would offer a major victory…that basically says I’m sorry for ever criticizing Israel”

As far as I can tell, Hasan hasn’t done anything except say stuff. You can’t persecute someone for saying stuff in America. Source: First Amendment.

Pretty sure you could go after someone for actively and admittedly promoting terrorism especially when terrorists are admittedly using you as a terrorist radicalisation funnel.

I never said he should be prosecuted. Nor is it true that you can't prosecute someone for "saying stuff" in America. Of course you can criminally prosecute or civilly sue someone for "saying stuff"—it just depends on what is said, where it's said, and how it's said. But I never said Hasan could be held criminally or civilly liable for his statements, so I don't know what you're trying to say.

I said Rick Scott should press Jeff Bezos using the subpoena power of Congress—which is extremely vast. That isn't prosecution. That's just forcing a guy to sit in Congress while he's asked under penalty of perjury why his company pays out millions to a person who incites violence against sitting congressmen, justifies killing babies, and so on.

Now, is there criminal or civil penalties that could arise from Hasan hosting a member of a designated terrorist organization on his stream? Maybe. Maybe it wouldn't be Hasan in trouble for that, but Twitch. You'd have to ask an AUSA about that, especially if it turned out Hasan or Twitch provided anything to the terrorist in exchange for the "interview."
