Hasan has a habit of buying Gucci products, and really overtly Gucci products at that. This is not the flex he thinks it is because "streamer who made lots of money buys Gucci" is a cliché at this point and a lot of Gucci stuff is actually scorned in the circles where people routinely buy incredibly expensive items (kinda like buying a Louis Vuitton tracksuit covered in the monogram logo).

The bags are probably really nice quality, but the reason Hasan bought them because he wanted to show off the green and red straps. Which is what makes this extra funny, because he's not just a millionaire "communist" buying expensive high quality goods, he's a millionaire "communist" buying things specifically to show off how rich he is. But of course it's utilitarian for rich kids to get raped.
A lot of high end men's suits will have a suit tag on the sleeve. Just like how pockets and vents come stitched closed and a man is supposed to unstitch them before wearing the suit, the sleeve suit tag is supposed to be removed before wearing. Not removing the tag was traditionally seen as a sign that the man wearing the suit doesn't know this (aka someone who's just come into money and bought a bunch of expensive crap without appreciating it).

Anyone know anything about Hasan's college experience? He's no WASP, but he doesn't seem like his upbringing was substantively different than the wealthy WASP failsons he is railing against, just in Turkey (and I think he moved to America at 18 ).
Destiny actually complained about Vaush saying this with such certainty because they were never told the real reason. It seems likely, but Destiny and Vaush don't know for sure.
