I would love Hasan to come to Europe claiming he is white. Too bad his simps keep telling him that's a dumb idea as he is not considered white at all in any of the Western European countries that have seen a bunch of Turks migrate to them.

This is generally true, and perhaps this sounds tinfoily, but I think part of why they do this though is to boil the frog (in this case, the white demographic) slowly regarding demographic change. Turks obviously aren't that big of a part of the US population, but they do skew the numbers every so slightly and they're not the only group that gets the "White" designation.

True, but when talking about "Caucasian" the average person isn't thinking about it like that, they just think: white. If someone is listening to a news report about a Caucasian male robbing a liquor store and that he's on the loose people aren't imagining that he looks like a member of System of a Down or something, just like no one in America is going to think of someone who looks like M. Night Shyamalan or Kal Penn if the report is that the robber is "Asian."

I mean I agree there are plenty of divergences between what average people think/interpret and how government actually functions. But there's always a history and method to the government's insanity. (Most often the worst ideas are a consequence of building up on earlier, bad ideas.)
