Was looking for the lyrics for that song I heard on MATI.
This is the first time I've seen this. I can't get it to appear by searching stuff like "9/11 was done by jews" or "covid originated from a lab".

Searches getting worse is something I've noticed but is anyone else finding even Google Translate barely fucking works now? I try to translate a page and it will either take 20 seconds or say (Page cannot be translated). I don't care what gay algorithm they want to have, People prefer shit actually working

In my experience, it has. Google in particular has been rather egregious due to how since it is located in Silicon Valley, it will often show shitty corners of the web that are filled with ultraleftoid commie faggotry, and it's not just shit like Kotaku and any mainstream publication, but to shitty, basement dweller hatred filled fanboy websites who are aligned with the DEI and tranny pedophile rapist cult.

I might be treading the same waters other people have, but in the last couple years, whenever I search anything, the first results are always something the search engine is trying to sell me. Like look up beep codes for a motherboard / PC and the top 5 results are all amazon or newegg links.

Intentionally nerfed.

I have to sometimes shuffle through different search engines to find what I'm actually looking for.

Yandex is usually my last resort for regular shit, but my first option when searching for torrents.

Google secretly replaces your search terms with their own search terms. I don't have proof, but surely they must be manipulating things on their end.

Nah, they just use a shit AI algorithm to guess the "intent" of your search instead of just searching the text against webpage text.

Its the search engine equivalent of "you hate spiders, you must secretly want to fuck spiders."

All Jewgle does is try to sell me shit. You try to look up the specs of a video card and the first 9 results are links to sketchy online stores. I swear there must be some cooperate program you can buy into to get your shit put in the top results that Google does no vetting for. I'm pretty sure if I paid them enough, I could get them to push legit malware.

S.E.O. shit from pajeets combined with a monopoly equals shit.

Translate will also purposely mistranslate things with a leftist ISA political bias.

This happened to me the other day, I was writing a reply to someone in Spanish and it translated 'American' in my reply to the linguistic abortion 'estadounidense' something I would never utter.
I like the ones who say "norteamericano" (Canada get wrecked), although I'm also fond of "yanqui."

I think it's because of two reasons

1.) Censorship, pretty self explanatory. You remove search terms in the backend, you probably kill off some other terms that are not the target for the censorship in question. This phenomena has escalated a lot the last 5 - 10 years. It's to such a retarded level that searching for a bread recipe is a dead end now.

2.) Traditional/old models being replaced with newer ones that are heavily dependent on machine learning (the AI meme). These new "AI" models are often under developed and lacks "training"/data. These companies are hoping that it's only shit now, but when it gets trained it will surpass the old model eventually, that it's only a temporary performance bump that will pay off later. I think it can work (the theory says it does), but it won't in practice because of reason number 1.), they are tampering the models and data in order to censor the searches and that constantly breaks it. Machine learning models are just average values on steoroids, and if you are constrantly removing points for the computer to interpolate, it will end up being a useless meme.

This is what I think is going on, they want to censor the engines, but it breaks the new models (AI ones) in the backend because it's more sensitive to tampering, compared to older models.

Keep in mind, they have a team dedicated to train models just to detect "disturbing" memes. It's pretty much googles version of the attached image. There is a database for detecting happy merchant memes.
