without being gay, i found myself having a thought on how KiwiFarms shaped my views for the better. i've grown to hate trannies, i like free speech, and realize people will lie to your face to make themselves look better

being able to watch youtube videos (more specifically, apology videos) with an open mind has made watching content better in the sense, it's easier to sniff out bullshit coming from people rather than just taking it at face value

or i'm probably autistic

Yes. It’s influenced my opinions on lots of things, especially my views on journalism. I cannot trust a single article or news publication I read/watch now. Not one. Before the Farms, I always knew that there were corrupt news agencies that shouldn’t be trusted to tell you the color of the sky, let alone feed you info about a divisive political topic. However, the amount of completely fabricated slop I’ve seen due to this site (a lot of it about this site) has made me realize there isn’t a single trustworthy journalist or press outlet. They’re all niggers and should be totally disregarded.

Most of my views have evolved in a way I'd expect, with or without KF, and I somehow managed to be here for a couple of years without having strong opinions on either trannies or even the more extreme aspects of a free speech. I prefer being unsure about things.

What KF did do was inspire me to be less cowardly. You just can't follow the history of this place, without wanting to be slightly less anxious about your own life and things you could perhaps do to not be such a sheep all the time.

Has KiwiFarms/Internet changed/shaped your views?

Kiwi Farms? No.
The internet in general? Yes, of course. Simply bc more information/opinions on literally everything is accessable and more niche topics can be accessed.

yes, i have grown to hate journos with a passion. seeing the blatant lies they spread firsthand makes me hate all of them and the entire journalism profession. gamergate started me down the path of journo hate, but the dropkiwifarms movement was a real eye opener for me on just how bad all journos are.

i also hate trannies more than ever thanks to KF. i tolerated them before, now i unironically call for TTD.

i have also become a bit more right leaning in some of my political positions. some of that is KF, some of that is normal everyday life.

and for the internet as a whole, not specific to KF, i have changed tons of my views and perspectives over the years thanks to interaction with others through it. some of it for the good, some of it for the worse.

kiwifarms taught me two lessons:

archive everything (i finally upgraded my pc just so i could store things in bulk)
use citations: when i first came here i was very pleased to see people actually citing their sources in the posts as they became necessary instead of just dumping a mound of links at the bottom of an article, and people very rarely use wikipedia which is also appriciated.

The Internet taught me that leftists are largely retarded, authoritarian hypocrites who do the same shit as their opposition, they just use nicer words.
Kiwi Farms taught me that rightoids are largely the same, the only difference being that they aren't in charge and all their crowing is because they aren't the ones controlling the narrative anymore.
Also basic opsec.

Same. I already knew it was all a farce and a joke, but watching it happen in real-time while being intimate with the subject was infuriating but enlightening. It was less eye-opening, but more validating my cynicism.

anyone who is old enough to remember the bush jr years should know the leasson that both left and right are authoritarian faggots when in charge, but when not in charge they cry about having principals of human rights/freedom/etc. but once in power again they have no principals other than the principals of power.

somewhat, it taught me basic internet hygiene ^_^

this. i cant believe how sloppy i was before. i was so careless about the information i put out there. just glad that im such a loser nobody whom nobody ever pays attention.

I've learned that rape is pretty cool and funny. Thanks @Bargain Bin Laden !

it is especially funny when it involves poop.

Believe it or not, I think KF influenced me to be a bit nicer to people. Not to everyone of course, but still.

The Internet shaped me more than it changed me. There is no scenario in which I can imagine a different self without.

I don't really have anything to blame it on except for the distraction it provides. But it's a choice I make to waste my time on it. I would most likely just be something just as useless for the same reasons if it did not exist in the first place.

I grew a greater distaste for feminists and their histrionics after checking the men hate thread in beauty parlor.
You make yourself a disservice even watching these threads. Both sides are nothing but seething foaming at the mouth retards.

Either gender would mostly be ashamed to claim them as their own.
