It's unfortunate since they have potential to be good with all of their countless game articles but laziness and political sperging happened. Nowadays, I avoid the site like the plague. Any nerd site in general who pushes their politics first and lectures their audience is a warning sign to stay away from it for good.
And they trying to sell money by making books of gaming history. Too bad they not gonna mentioned them bullying some gamer over having the word newhalf. How is that word offensive again?

Oh right, those "books" that I don't even know if those got sold in the first place.

I don't get how "newhalf" is offensive too. I guess these losers just want to get offended for no reason again.

These retards sure love to infest the gaming community with their politics instead of using that free time to write and polish their articles more thoroughly. They might as well be a bargain-bin version of Kotaku at this point.
They always struck me as the same sort of people who infest NeoGAF or Era. The sort of people who claim to be lifelong mega ultra fans of some Japanese game series and then you dig into the thread about it and it's just them bitching about 'problematic' content or misunderstanding the themes. Then they sit in a circle and jerk each other off lamenting how the chuds are standing in the way of the devs 'fixing' the series.

They can't be real fans if they find content to be offensive while claiming to be "hardcore fans" in the first place. That's how troons and faggots SJWs found their way into nerd hobbies and slowly corrupted them while gatekeeping it to themselves.

I'll never forget HG101's article about Shadow Warrior (1997), that's when I realized that site went on the SJW route. No one in my time complained about the stereotypical Asian theme of that game and then one day some faggot wrote how deeply offensive this game is while the supposed "offensive Asian stereotype" was the fucking intention in the first place for comedic purposes.

I remember this site, used to want to write an article for them (specifically about Bungie's Marathon trilogy).

The increasing SJW stuff was annoying but what really wound up putting me off was Kurt not saying much about the ugly brouhaha between that HG101 contributor and Agness Kaku. Does not inspire me to trust anyone involved.

Oh yeah, one of the moderators at HG101 (WildWeasel) is also a moderator at Doomworld, which as you all surely know also has its own thread here.

They are the type of morons that will one day get a police investigation over some dark shit we don't know of.

Kurt is insulting Discord because of his AI schizophrenia

I m looking forward to his Discord server getting officially nuked now.

Those folks are nutjobs. what's the difference between a pajeet and AI? There're plenty of shitty textures created by living beings.

^That should be their front page

^You forgot Taiwan and furries. Nancy Pelosi should be proud, ask her for a donation. But anyway, I agree Kurt lives on stolen land. Gtfo to Congo now.

^Very optimistic.

^When was the last time they were employed?

^AI derangement syndrome, in addition to TDI. Nice.

Hardcore indeed.
Now all these nutjobs need is the "Blacklisted by Japanese gaming companies Seal of Approval™️" in their profiles and their faggotry will be complete.

Most obnoxious reviewer at the site IMHO (which is saying something).

Won't shut the fuck up about how gay he is and also was an unironic Homestuck fan years after the series' heyday had come and gone and the fandom had picked up a rep for obnoxiousness.

Butted heads with him back in the day. It's a crying shame because we had some surprising things in common and I imagine we would have had some good laughs together if he had learned to keep his chimpouts under control.

No idea about that guy, but I just read his Overblood 2 article and unsurprisingly it’s an inane and pretentious wall of text. I played it back in the days and had quite some fun with it.

It’s a bit funny how hg101 ‘journalists’ feel the need to reference several unrelated videogames in their ‘reviews’. It reads like an attempt to showcase reviewer’s Google skills.

Their ‘reviews’ are practically always grossly revisionistic.

It's like creating a cinematic universe out of Citizen Kane. Guess how that turned out?
