I've been to the Pentagon and 93 Memorial out in PA, never saw the WTC pools. I think the 93 one was more sad because instead of being surrounded by the urban bustle, it's just a quiet field in the middle of nowhere. Kind of feels like life didn't move on in comparison.

I agree. I've been to both the WTC Memorial and the Flight 93 Memorial, and I genuinely think the Flight 93 is more somber due to it being basically nothing more than a field. Akin to a battlefield left barren.
