Haiku General - Write a haiku or two

Doesn't make sense to follow any syllables rule when is applied to japanese but you're writing in english.
Syllable rules are what make a haiku. If you don't follow syllable rules, it's not a haiku. Doesn't matter what language. Haiku are 5-7-5 5; tanka are 5-7-5-7-7; lunes are 5-3-5 which is better reflective of the syllable sparsity of the Japanese language forced onto other languages.

I always liked this haiku:

Haiku by a Robot
Seven hundred ten
Seven hundred eleven
Seven hundred twelve.
