I was glancing over the character sheets, and I noticed this in Timmy's section:

Feels Vulnerable When -- When he sees a sign of his own aging.

That's kind of horrific when you think about it. I don't know what Enter's intention was (stress and gray hairs? not being able to connect with young kids?) but I can only read it as being afraid to grow up and fall into this demented backwards powerstructure. The older you get, the closer you are to losing control. After all, in just a few short years Timmy will be a teenager.

This story just keeps digging itself further down the rabbit hole.

We should have a list of "Reasons Why Growing Around's Plot is Fucked Up" or something like that.
 
@Ferls: It's a bad analogy. Gross out humor is common in the media, whereas porn isn't. (Of course, given his apparent fart fetish, maybe he's projecting himself...)

It would be more imaginative to have this world's equivalent of erotica be what a kid thinks it is.
 
The children should not have their own version of erotica. Nevermind that some people do get off to shit and piss.
 
So the kids in this world all get off to farts like Enter? I know this has been said before, but the world of Growing Around just gets more and more disturbing the more we learn about it.

So, where did you guys find these character sheets? I kinda want to see the horror for myself.

But by god, this sounds like something the censors would have taken notice. Hell, I could see Enter's videos flagged on YouTube should the series even make it onto that. Which it probably won't by this point.

I forget exactly when Enter passed it out. It was either for the VA auditions or for potential writers to use.

EDIT: Found it. It was for writing try-outs.

and also, I could nitpick about fashion making no sense because kids run the fucking world, but I woulod be repeting complains I did before
