They seem to have stopped short of actually saying "Hey, maybe we think we're trans because we're autistic!" Either they're too autistic to make the link, or they have but don't want to actually say it out loud for fear of destroying their claims of a legitimate identity. The first one to say it will be eaten alive by the others.
