Just adding this, this is not just Louis Rossmann getting content strikes for talking about Grayjay, I run a <50 subs youtube channel and made a 1 minute video about grayjay and linked to Rossmann's video, and I also received a community guideline strike yesterday for "dangerous content".
Google are likely so afraid of GrayJay that they are giving out strikes for even referencing it in a video title or description. @larossmann

I like the app and I hope they continue to support it despite Google's shenanigans.

I think it's because having it just wasn't corpo enough.
It was a holdover from when the internet was run by affluent nerds instead of businessmen.

I wonder if this applies to mentioning Invidious as well, considering Google has tried to threaten them once.

its worth noting they did this to yt-dlp aswell
 
It won't be long until YT takes action against a plumbing channel due a mention of installing new pipe.
 
I see they've added SponsorBlock to the YouTube plugin but have it disabled by default.
 
Anyone have this weird issue with Grayjay? It's when listening to a video in the background, we put the phone to sleep, then we reopen the app, it goes back to the home page and it doesn't remember the playing time I was before.

its been getting more buggy recently. new update today made none of the videos load. you see the video page load for a sec then crashes to home. home is a coinflip if itll show any vids even with a refresh

e: newest update fixes the video crash issue.
 
Is anyone having trouble watching MATI on grayjay, or any other streams for that matter?
On odysee, stream just doesn't load. On rumble, plays the "im worked up, im upset, iiiiim mad at the internet" song over and over until 20 minutes in and then it goes live.

Tried emailing futo about it but haven't gotten a reply back

when did you start it? Right as it went live, or midway through? I'll try again on friday, but yeah for me it just plays that looping placeholder music that plays before the stream itself goes live for sometimes up to 20 minutes
