If I recall, the Insurgent could take a few rocket hits before blowing up.
I meant Kuruma; it is impenetrable now but it's easy to whack by explosives

I'd have more fun in SP if it wasn't frozen in amber. It wouldn't kill Rockstar to toss in a few updates to the SP game and incorporate more of the online content.
>wanting anything but Yet Another GTAO Update

calm down with that antisemitism, bucko

Sort of thinking about getting a PS5 for various reasons, and I'm curious about the PS2 classic versions of GTA games.

I'm willing to accept the soundtracks being gutted (not that I have a choice), but how are they quality wise?

They are the PS2 versions emulated on PS4. Load times and all. There may be some latency issues but otherwise it's 1:1. And you get trophy support so that's a bonus.

Hey, as long as it's not as busted as the San Andreas 360 port, that's fine by me. I might just check them out.

I know III, Vice City, San Andreas, and Liberty City Stories are there, but what of Vice City Stories?

Speaking of Max Payne, I never got the line "Niagara? As in you cry a lot?" I'll take your jigsaw stickers but I never saw the connection between Niagara Falls and crying.
😭
Nope. R* has ignored that game for a while. Why? Licensing issues, lower sales, reconned story? Who knows.
Try all of them.
it has no explosive protection m8
yes but, your car take no bullet damage, it allows you to use sticky bombs and it's a recurring bug, one oldfag user noted it's the 13th time this shit happens with the old kuruma.

Of course it'd be licensing issues, those bastards are too cheap to keep their older games intact.

Damn shame then, I heard some good things about VCS and wanted to try it someday.

This is speculation. There was no official confirmation, but I consider that reasoning plausible. As always, take what I say with a grain of salt. I would like to know.

The licensing issues I'm referring with VCS is with Phil Collins being intergal in the game. Not just his music or his voice but his likeness. He's literally featured in a couple missions in VCS. Phil Collins supposedly liked being in VCS, so take that what you will.

Now, sales seems more likely. LCS sold 11 million as of 2017; VCS sold 6 million as of 2017. I think VCS was even removed from PSN (PS3 or PSP, I'm not certain.)

San Andreas has HD resolution, so it kind of looks weird? The sky has a weird tint and everything just looks off. Its ok, I guess, but they are ugly games in the ps4/5 format. They look way better on a CRT in their original form. That is my only complaint.

The PS4 version (the one you could buy for PS4) is basically upscaled to 1080p and a slightly different aspect ratio.

Insane idea, but considering the events going on in Cuba, it would be pretty funny if GTA VI had the main protagonist be a Cuban-American former felon who acts and look like Danny Trejo, but had the personality of Franklin’s character from GTA V.

If anyone remembers Trejo’s voice acting skills as T-Bone Mendez in GTA: San Andreas, I think he has the power to pull it off. That is, if Rockstar had the guts to do this.

Trivia: The second act of Driver 2 is set in Havana.

The story campaign is horrible, but it comes with a roam-free mode.
