on online i found a bit of autism i screenshotted a while ago, story is rather simple:
- i went for a casino heist
- did everything to get a good amount stolen
- tried once to leave in a specific grinderfag way following the host and we failed
- he starts freaking out because i usually don't chat in the game nor care about VOIP
- still follow his orders because he was freaking out hard and i wanted to finish the mission so fuck it
- we fail again because of his own retardation and goes full autism so i screencapped
- he left the game and i still didn't say a wordView attachment 1989673

this is literally that timmy turner ignoring the chick gif. i had a fucking blast seeing him write that shit.
:story:

nope, we failed and restarted on the south entrance again then he ragequit.

the helicopter on the roof thing you must buy the getaway vehicle for it to be guaranteed to spawn, else it's 50/50 and grinderfags always go for them.
>not doing cayo perico

They gave him $10,000
part of the security bounty program.

and in the end they'll copy-paste his solution and give it to the nearest intern to fix the fuckton of incompatibilities. hehe

That's unusually generous of them, given how the GTA modding community has been treated over the years.

Really, I'm genuinely shocked that the modder didn't get C&D'd for doing a better job than they ever did.
the whole thing was that they analyzed the mod to see what it did, that's why it fell under the security bounty program, if not they would C&D his ass just like they tried on FIVEM/ALTV

The load time is noticeable shortened.. Almost feels like it's loading near what it was like when it first launched on PC. It's seems to effect both general freeroam and missions themselves, so hopefully no more of that one random guy never loading in from "On Call".

With that being said, still not going to be playing it.. I'll check out the next update when ever it launches.. Now that I don't have to plan half a day just for dealing with the load times.

As a kid, GTA has spoiled my expectations of video games. The ability to commander almost any vehicle at will and traverse around the world amazed me. When I would see stationary vehicles in games, I think: Can I take this and drive around?

not in online you can't.

I'm talking about GTA 3/VC days. I did not even realize that GTA could be enjoyed online at the time. Personally, I think it should've stayed single player.

Looking back, this was one of my favorite missions of GTA IV. The eerie music of The Isley Bros. “Footsteps In The Dark” was a nice touch considering we started to know who Dwayne Forge is.

This was easily the second best mission, in my most humble opinion. Playboy X was a funny character because of the option of how you killed him. Because if you killed Dwayne, he’d blame Niko for being cold-hearted and an undesirable after he stops calling you.

I’ll update more of this thread with my favorite GTA IV missions. Living in New York nowadays, the dialogue and script writing still holds up very well, even in 2021.

Completed San Andreas last Friday for the first time since 2005. Despite the age, it felt truly satisfying to complete and it is amazing just how much Rockstar got spot on back then - flight mechanics, story, variety, sheer size, logistical planning and mapping, environment, customization, mission difficulty (mainly)...

I’d be interested to know if many here spent any time ‘pure sandboxing’ once they completed GTA VC/SA. I always look forward to running amok with the Hydra or attack helicopters post-completion, but once the story is over, it just doesn’t have the same appeal.

I used to when I was a kid, but now that i'm older i don't get as much fun out the sandbox. Now when I replay I just beat the game and move onto the next one.

Honestly out of all the GTAs, the only one I felt inclined to mess around in was Vice City. Part of it was the setting, part of it was the soundtrack, and part of it was because Tommy Vercetti was someone I could see going on a rampage for the hell of it. The world map is also small enough to where I can memorize the roads to evade the cops.
