They're literally adding the biggest soundtrack expansion since the PS4/One editions. Unless its complete garbage music (which it could be based on some of the stations they added but I dont expect it this time) then they're probably paying some decent license fees for a 7 year old game.

GTA Online isnt going anywhere and I dont see a GTA VI coming any time soon.

The only way I can see a GTA VI coming about is if they fully divest GTA Online from GTA V in a next-gen release and the only reason why I still wouldn't entirely rule out GTA VI (it's unlikely but not impossible in my opinion) is the fact that Sam Houser stayed with Rockstar after Dan left and last I checked, is still with the company

I've seen a few people online speculating that Dan specifically asked Sam to stay with Rockstar to make sure GTA 6 sees the light of day, but I'd chalk that up to autistic internet rumors.

I'm pretty sure that internally R* is already preparing to split Online from V, (think they're doing it to RDR too) which is the best approach imo, they can have two teams working on SP and MP respectively and Online won't ever fuck with SP this way.

I think a GTA VI will come simply cause of the work that has surely been done but it will probably be 2023 at earliest

>implying that new GTA wasn't scrapped at some point and anything done got ported to online

at this point, I just stopped caring; if new GTA happen, it'll happen, if not,

🤷‍♂️

in RDR it's literally "buy MP for $20, unlock SP later for more real money if you want"; probably it will be same for GTA

They did say that GTA VI would be a moderately sized AAA title. Vice City or something like that would be a reasonable guess.

I hope that the Narcos based inspiration of VI turns out to be true.

Dynamic weather in an open world like GTA would be a gamechanger from a technical and gameplay perspective.

There WILL be an online aspect for VI. At least I hope they address the loading screens.

An in-depth analysis on the behaviors, mannerisms and logistics of GTA IV's LCPD police.

A couple things I didn't notice:

  • The Alderney police department have different uniforms.
  • At four stars I believe, there are police snipers.
  • The NOOSE Hummers and trucks will ram you, but the police sedans will try to PIT manuever you.
Something the video didn't mention, female police officers were planned for IV but were cut. I heard it was because of concerns of player killing females at will.

The attention to detail in GTA is remarkable.

It's amazing how I don't even give a shit about the heists in GTA Online anymore. Trailer was the same boring repetitive shit we've gotten for seven years now.

I miss when GTA had over the top characters instead of the same generic airheaded dipshits I see in everyday life.

Are there any worthy GTA Clones coming out? I heard of this game called American Fugitive but I have no clue if it's good. VI can't come soon enough, dude.

Don't think so, but I hadn't even heard of American Fugitive so maybe I'm just not paying attention.

I'm actually starting to lose faith in GTA VI. I always assumed that the main script must have been written so Dan departing wouldn't mean too much, but now I'm starting to think that he was going full hog on RDR2. And if GTA Online's characters and "writing" is anything to go on. we are in for some rough shit.

I miss the days of early GTA Online when you were just some random street thug doing simple missions, races, and death matches.. Now we're all suppose to be hot shot billionaires with a personal fleet of military vehicles, flying cars and dipping our toes into every criminal act we can think of.
