By the looks of it from the video, the dev was originally happy to see Eben promote the mod and felt betrayed when he found out that Eben was shitting all over the mod.

Well he gave evidence of the raid in the video he just uploaded. Actually there was two raids that allegedly happened.

Granted this could be some gayops shit and taken out of context to try and make himself look better, but I'll give the benefit of the doubt for the time being.

Lmao, that one guy apparently thinks busted knuckles from punching the drywall out of his room in his mother's basement out of impotent rage about "heckin' NAZIS and CHUDS and BIGOTS" is some kind of flex. Unpopular opinion, the "sandbox" aspect of GTA was never fun or interesting.

Case in point, when I would play GTA IV's online free roam, I would fool around for a few minutes, then get bored and leave. Sad to say, it's the only active game mode there. I'd much rather play the curated modes to gain some progress.

Rockstar Glassdoor review claims crunch ahead of Grand Theft Auto VI release

A recently spotted Glassdoor review, reportedly from a QA analyst at Rockstar Games, Bengaluru, India has mentioned working conditions with GTA VI development.

The review describes increased pressure over the past month, and mentions:

• Unpaid overtime expectations
• Extended working hours, with some staff reportedly working until 3AM
• Compressed timelines (tasks expected to be completed in 2–3 months instead of 5–6)
• Limited response from management when concerns are raised

The reviewer also noted that conditions had worsened recently and described the situation as taking a toll on their mental health.

They apparently spent something like $3b $1.5b on GTA VI so yeah, IMO the big wigs want to get the game out ASAP and they want their money. They're probably worried the game isn't going to do as well as they hope its going to. There's two main things I can think of that threatens the success of GTA VI, which is a safe bet that it had a lot to do with why the game got delayed and why the devs are now shitting stress bricks for hours on end.

1 - First things first, we all know it, wokeism. That's just from looking at the timeline. Blue-haired they/them freak retardation was at its peak during the time period when GTA VI was half-way through full production and this was when corporate suits in all trades and industries thought gay-tranny neighbor-worship white-devil-bad crap was super popular and something all consoomers wanted so bad. You're going to have a hard time convincing me they didn't bake this shit into GTA VI's development. Top dollar bet is they noticed how unpopular this bullshit actually is, how many franchises it destroyed, they started shitting bricks and ordered a rewrite.

2 - Performance. The latest and greatest visual improvements with ray-traced shadows and reflections, with path tracing, over 9000x frame-generation to make it not a slideshow and all that other bullshit nobody even cares about requires hardware that the average Joe these days doesn't have. People simply can't afford the modern hardware to run the AAA games they release today. Simply put, the amount of people they need to buy GTA VI just to break even are overwhelmingly peasants running a 10th gen i5 and something like an RTX 3060. That's not counting the console-fags that are gaming on outdated hardware on consoles that are at the end of the generation's life-span. They probably figured that because of the RAM prices skyrocketing, making the game look and run good on older systems would be mandatory, because not that many people will be able to afford upgrading their shit to run what they intended.

Jason Schedier already confirmed that Rockstar wanted GTA VI to be “less offensive to minorities.” The E&E port of GTA V already removed “questionable content.” It’s a given that GTA VI will have less biting satire, although they put themselves in a corner if the increased density of brown skinned representation from the first trailer is anything to go by. What would they think some people would do with that given GTA’s proven criminal sandbox?

If you do make a thread about EBen, be sure to take a look through his stream archives account for any game that's not GTA (Scarface, Godfather, Need for Speed, The Warriors, etc). He might be good at GTA speed running, but he's literally DSP-Tier at anything else, he even rages like Phil does.

Edit: Green Man definitely did a better job at describing Ben's flaws than I could've. Still, Ben's playthroughs are funny to laugh at in a sad sort of way.

DSPs tihydps of GTA (before twitch) are the best intro to who dsp is and are very entertaining if you're drunk and wanna laugh at an ass. Shit watching him play VCS makes me wanna play that one again.

Absolutely accurate, dude is fucking TERRIBLE at anything that isn't GTA related, and that includes other very similar games, even some made by Rockstar [RDR] or games that have a lot in common mechanically [Saints Row], and as you said, he isn't just bad at these games, he's easily Phil-tier. If one had the time, you could sit there and watch his non-GTA stream archives or VODs and easily come up with a laundry list of times Ben refused to even remotely comprehend basic, commonplace mechanics to his own peril. And what does Ben do? Blames the developer, of course, just as Phil always does. And then if anyone in chat tries to suggest anything or give him tips so he isn't getting fucking smoked over and over, he bans them for "backseat gaming" him, which to my knowledge even Phil doesn't do. Somehow DSP is actually more open to criticism and more receptive to tips than fucking English Ben is.

Another thing about Ben is, when he's playing these GTA mods, unless the developer is one of his butt buddies that hangs around in his Discord, he just mercilessly shits on these guys. He holds them to an impossible standard, as if he expects their work and experience to be on par with professional development teams - meanwhile a lot of these mods are literally just one fucking dude making shit in his spare time. DinosaurBytes is the only mod dev I've seen him actually be pleasant to, and even then, when Ben first played some of his mods [IIRC Dinosaur made Tightened Thrice, Tightened Vice, and I think most recently he did one for San Andreas too, basically just making the game more challenging but not to the extent of Vice City Hardlined where it's cheap as fuck] he was shitting on him constantly as well. I mean, why would anyone expect a mod made by like, one fucking Russian dude in a shitty apartment to be on par with a project that has actual manpower and capital behind it? And Ben actually did adopt an old, semi-broken GTA mod himself [Frosted Winter for GTA III] and I guarantee he gets defensive as fuck if anyone shits on his personal design choices.

I saw a mod video of him where somebody in chat suggested him to “heal up.” He gave a friendly warning to not backseat game, seconds later, he died.
