Saints Row '23 it's nowhere near as bad as it's made out to be. The only thing more woke in it than the previous ones is "body types" instead of genders; the self help stuff is only spouted by one character and he and his beliefs get mocked throughout!

Looks like you have been infected by the woke mind virus. You need to go watch Endymion youtube videos.

In all my years of playing I don't think I've ever travelled this road

That is unless there's a mission that takes you along it that I've forgotten.

I didn't even know the airport has an actual purpose to take you from state to state.

You can buy a plane ticket and board the plane as a passenger. I knew about trains, but not that. Wow.

It's Mount Chiliad; the quarry is the dark brown area next to Las Venturas, by the river.
Ohhh fuck yeah, that's right. I was for some reason thinking Chilliad was closer to Los Santos, and the Quarry was closer to San Fierro, I misremembered the Quarry as a place during one of those robbery missions you had to do with Catalina, but that's not correct at all.

One of my biggest griefs with open world games is this, lots of interesting locale that isn't used in any activity. Good for those who explore shit for the sake of it.
Open worlds nowadays are becoming bigger and bigger with little to do. That's what I always liked about GTA's open world formula. You would use cars to navigate around. With the exception of SA and V, the maps were small, but detailed plenty that make traversal a breeze.

How is this different from GTA Underground?
Let alone Stars & Stripes when it becomes finished* and that modification will have a lot more freeways and roads than any of those two previously mentioned mods ever did.

But it is besides the point, you don't ever have a reason to travel that bit of the freeway into Chiliad since most usually go into Foster Valley anyways.

*If it does get close to even 80% completion

Always assumed Niko didnt much care but mostly because of his intense apathy towards much of the American nonsense, he was there to get revenge afterall. Niko is a very practical character, his personal feelings be damned if going along will help achieve his goal better.
Niko is as straightforward for a war torn character as they come. You try going into "the land of opportunity" to seek revenge and believe bullshit your cousin sells you about America. I'd be annoyed too.

GTA 6 isn't even out yet, & we're getting anime GTA (combined with NFS, NBA, Tony Hawk Tuah, DoA, Spiderman, Infamous, DMC, Mahjong, Genshin Impact, Scarlett Nexus).

Reminds me a lot of the Crackdown series, too. The part where he was running along the beam at the construction site and knocks down the pipes on the crane is like Watch Dogs or Assassins' Creed.

I don't really like anime, and most Chinese games seem to turn out badly, but I suppose it is worth giving a shot.
