Barely. Before I download this, does it make the game look any less goofy?
I hate what they did to Tommy Vercetti
And I'm on Playstation so that doesn't bode well either.Barely.
This is basically just all the improvements from the mobile port of Definitive to the PC port. That's it.
I actually rolled my eyes more at Fonteno than the zoomer nig.https://youtube.com/watch?v=8WsTqyqlYUI
Kai Cenat on stream with Shawn Fonteno, AKA Franklin.
How does Kai NOT know Shawn's actual name?
I think Steven Ogg embraced the Trevor fandom again, although at a lesser scale compared to Luke or Fonteno., while Steven Ogg get's shit on because he doesn't want to be "Trevor" 10 years later.
That whole situation really bugged the shit out of me.
Pity. I liked Ogg when he was telling these people off. Especially that faggot on Cameo that started the whole ruckus.I think Steven Ogg embraced the Trevor fandom again, although at a lesser scale compared to Luke or Fonteno.
I hate how GTA V IS GTA at this point. San Andreas has been reduced to zoomer memes.
The hanging on to GTA V is funny, but honestly? I can't blame the guy. Was coming up on years, acting career wasn't exactly noteworthy so far, and then comes this huge, record smashing break that catapults him into the spotlight. Not sure how the royalties issue is going at R* but i imagine the man is set up for the rest of his life now.I'm sick of Ned Luke. It's been over 10 years dude, get a new fucking gig. I guess it's extremely fitting that Michael is a character that lives in the past because Ned constantly loves talking about GTA V
I get that but couldn't he have used that role to propel himself further? The hanging on to GTA V is funny, but honestly? I can't blame the guy. Could you imagine them trying to get through GTA IV? I remember it being a little trying to get through at the age I played it at to begin with, and I was not an iPad baby. I think it will be a little lost on them.I hate how GTA V IS GTA at this point. San Andreas has been reduced to zoomer memes.
What do you expect, it's been 10 years. Most zoomers that weren't raised in a third world country only remember playing GTA V as their first experience.I hate how GTA V IS GTA at this point.
Me neither. I mean, I'd love for him to do some more stuff other than Michael, but there isn't really much of a point to it when it's basically what he's known for.The hanging on to GTA V is funny, but honestly? Really? I mean.. I don't remember IV being that hard to go through even as a child. Maybe I hold too much faith in young zoomers.Could you imagine them trying to get through GTA IV? GTA Online is full of third worlders. Then again, a lot of them love GTA San Andreas as well. I suppose it depends on whether or not they have access to consoles (like Indians and Jamaicans; close to Western markets) or have to play on decrepit PCs (Venezuelans and other people under Western sanctions). Most zoomers that weren't raised in a third world country only remember playing GTA V as their first experience.
I don't know if I meant hard like that. I really loved GTA IV, and I still love it today (it, and its expansions, are my favourite GTA games). I just remember it being a very complex and long story with many chapters that went on for a long time. Niko goes through a lot and there are just so many characters and stages. It felt like a real saga to me, for some reason. I think it would be harder for people raised on Fortnite, modern Call of Duty, Apex Legends, and even GTA Online to have the patience for it, or see much point in it. I suppose I'm probably poisoned against them somewhat and I'm being unfair.Really? I mean.. I don't remember IV being that hard to go through even as a child. Maybe I hold too much faith in young zoomers.
I think this ties in a little to what I mean. GTA IV was more story-driven and it lacked big bombastic dogfighting or tanks; it is kind of the polar opposite to the average GTA Online mission, in which you get a horde of private military APCs and police helicopters chasing you to a bunker in the middle of the desert.IV was one of my least favorite GTAs when I was younger only because of the fact that the cheats menu was reeled back a lot compared to SA (and hell, even V now that I think about it)
They went from looking like generic plastic photoshopped instagram pics to looking like actual people who would still be 9.5/10 irl, calm downI noticed this some time ago, but did anyone else notice that between the September 2022 leaks and the first GTA VI trailer, they made the characters much uglier? It could just be a result of them fleshing them out more, but it disappointed me a little.
American elder zoomer here, my first attempt to play 4 was on an ancient ThinkPad I got secondhand for like $200 with money I saved up from my job as a teen so I know this struggle. I still don't own a console bc im not much of a gamer outside of gta but playing it now on a laptop with decent specs and an Xbox controller is an absolute world of difference in how enjoyable the game isI suppose it depends on whether or not they have access to consoles (like Indians and Jamaicans; close to Western markets) or have to play on decrepit PCs (Venezuelans and other people under Western sanctions).
Rockstar has removed references to the company they outsourced (Grove street games) seemingly to distance themselves.Massive GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition update, release vs now (Patch 1.112)

Yeah I'm aware of the shit flinging and diva shit Liotta and Reynolds got up to with VC but in SA they had James Woods, Samuel L Jackson, Faizon Love, MC Eiht, The Game, fucking Peter Fonda, Rockstar isn't shying away from having big stars. Maybe they've gone cheap but they could pull the star power, and they might as well at this point. If all the shit about 6 that I'm hearing is true they might as well get Chris Pratt and Ryan Reynolds in it.No.
Steven Ogg tried and all he got was Trevor-ish typecasted.
R* intentionally go out of their way to hire mediocre actors that have little to no chance at superstardom. They're not getting promising talent or stars because those people shat on them during VC/SA and Sam Houser is still asshurt about Burt Reynolds and Ray Liotta.
Is there a reason why 4 seems to be in the process of being memoryholed by Rockstar?
Yeah I can see what you mean. However to me, this is kind of the antithesis of what GTA is meant to be about. I play GTA to piss around in a sandbox where I can do anything I dream of. There's a reason why a broken swingset is a small but substantial memory for people who played IV. It's because you can fuck around with the world.I think this ties in a little to what I mean. GTA IV was more story-driven and it lacked big bombastic dogfighting or tanks; it is kind of the polar opposite to the average GTA Online mission, in which you get a horde of private military APCs and police helicopters chasing you to a bunker in the middle of the desert.
