I'm pretty sure half of Swegta's youtube content was being a warmongering sperg who never shut the fuck up about the state of content on YouTube that isn't central to gaming whatsoever.

Finely an excuse to talk about Swegta, even before that transphobia video that got a lot of his fans to turn on him I was feeling something "off" about him even if I had no idea what it was. He then released the "Transphobia in GTA5" video and it was click after click. If I recall when he released that video he had a stream planned where he was basically saying "debate me bro" to his audience. There was a comment left on Rouge: Internet Mans response that gives some insight to what went down during said stream:
"Hey there, Rogue, Internet Man. I figured that you may find some of what I have to add a bit interesting.

So, obviously you saw the video and just like much of his audience you found it to be really stupid and suspicious considering his recent financial troubles. Well, as you may have noticed he did a stream where he said he would try to talk to people that disagree with his video. This is around the point when I really lost all respect for him, because the aforementioned stream was filled with him saying and doing a number of shady things.

The main point of contention the people in his discord during the stream had is that he not only talked only with people that agree with him, but me and the other people in the “Waiting” voice channel noticed that he was seemingly only talking to people that donated, and this was without saying at any point during the stream that he would only talk to donors. At one point in the stream he said something along the lines of, “I’m really trying to find people who disagree”, and that was the point when me and nearly everyone else in the “Waiting” channel either started busting out laughing at him, or got pissed off, because nearly every person in the “Waiting” channel both did not donate and also were talking major shit on him, myself included. He acted like he was trying so hard to find someone who disagreed with him, but if he popped into the “Waiting” channel for even one minute he’d find around 5-10 people who all thought and still think that his video was a pile of dog shit.

In conclusion, fuck Swegta. He’s a shady guy that’s happy to trade his loyal fans for a bunch of progressive losers that will inevitably stop watching after a week or two.

Oh and by the way, thank you for making this video. It really irks me that he painted me and a lot of his audience with a broad bigot brush, so I’m glad we have you to put him in his place."
tl;dr: Swegta only let people who donated onto the stream to somehow make it look like the discourse was in his favor and when his audience rightfully gave him shit for it he nuked his discord (not too sure about the discord nuke it's just what I've heard from others so citation needed).

Now if I were to make a guess on what the fuck was going on I'd wager that Swegta just made that transphobia video to get rage clicks and get people to tune into a stream so he'd get some dosh to blow on drugs and partying. He's since changed the video title and started sympathy farming in the comments. Now honestly I think Swegta isn't in the worst position here, his audience clearly are willing to forgive him and I do think he can bounce back from this but instead he's just wallowing in self pity and e-begging. Shame, thought he was one of the better Rockstar themed channels.

GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition released their first patch
Having so many issues all laid out there within one patch really brings it home just how dire this port is. Most of those should have been fixed looooooooooooong before release.

The rain effect was so bad, it had to have been a placeholder, surely

I think San Andreas has a great supporting cast of characters. That's why memes from that game are still around to this day. However, I do think that R* dropped the ball with Grove Street's betrayal.

Now, the game does gives some foreshadowing with Smoke in the beginning of the game. But, Ryder's inclusion feels forced. The common census is that MC Eith, Ryder's actor, had problems with R* during production so they had to scramble to finish.

I think they did a half-assed job. Ryder is actually one of my favorites in San Andreas. I do not believe it.

I think SA bit more than it could chew. It went from Boyz in the Hood to Dazed and Confused to X-Files bullshit with Toreno to Casino (yeah that one with Al Pacino).

I specifically have a problem with San Andreas and GTA V over all the government/secret agent shit in it.

GTA IV handled working for the government much better IMO.

BTW you mean DeNiro, not Pacino.

Color me surprised that they're bothering to patch these games after they abandoned the SA Xbox 360 remaster. Really, my opinion of GSG and Rockstar is so low that I expected them to take the money and run, maybe the backlash is getting to them harder than I thought.

See that makes sense with maybe MC Eiht disagreeing with stuff or being unavailable for whatever reason, since he's basically dropped from the plot after Los Santos except for some throwaway lines by other characters - even when he reappears he just seems to be using a random take they had lying around when he speaks his single line. Imo, he should have been killed protecting Sweet at the end of Green Sabre, would have added way more impact to that whole scenario. He always seemed the real homie, and rightly gave CJ shit for ditching to the East Coast but came around on him and got shit done with him. While Smoke was just always a snake and tossed his fake love shit around.

Only thing that says otherwise really is Tenpenny lurking around Ryder's house like he does with Smoke, but that did always kinda feel red-herringish to me. I think that they felt like they simply needed another Grove member that was an actual character but then once the game script moved away from the 'hood life shit they just had no clue what to do with him so tossed him in with Big Smoke's betrayal so he could be quickly killed and forgotten a while later.

The last 3 in particular. Espresso-2-Go requires you to navigate through all the islands and find unmarked espresso stands
8 minutes to destroy every booth on the map is difficult. Just like "The Driver", it requires luck and knowing the route. (Nobody looks forward to playing those missions again.)
Most of the story is cliched disconnected strands that don't go anywhere, Claude isn't interesting enough a character
It's an echo of GTA2. The way the game works is that, after you've finished all of the missions, gang leaders realize you've been double-crossing them, and all three arrive to kill you in their gang cars.

The fact that everyone is dead suits Claude. No one was left in the game by the time he got his revenge.
The rain, tho... God damn.
If there is a Hell
I'm sure this is how it smells
Wish this were a dream, but no, it isn't

Something I learned over time: timer starts when you destroy a stand. That means you could just drive around on all three islands to "spot" them, THEN proceed to destroy them as they appear on your radar.

Thank God R* had the foresight to nerf the Mafia when you drive through their territory for that one stand.

I doubt Grove Street Games had the insight to perhaps remove the Mafia wielding shotguns after betraying Sal.

Contrary to belief, shotguns aren't bugged in the Definitive Edition. Shotgun are extremely OP in 3. You can die instantly in the original game, too.

Rockstar should just hire these guys.
They won't because it makes too much sense.
I'm desperately waiting that R* fixes that for us console fags too. Thanks to the draw distance San Andreas now looks like a theme park. Even looks horrible on the ground:

That's what I did to beat it. Having to scout all 3 islands then go back through destroying the stands sucks, especially when you die and have to repeat the process.
