Playing with a literal turd can be fun if you force yourself to do it, but that doesn't offset the fact it's objectively shit.
 
Can't wait for definitive edition Cyberpunk 2077. I wondered why Xbox Game Pass had San Andreas.

Of course the base of the game is fun but that fact they made poor and rushed "Definitive" edition for $60 is outrageous. The 3D GTA games have their jankeyness but you expect a remaster to be something more of a dumpster fire of a release.

The graphical bugs and oddities show that this is an unpolished product. And that's not even the worst of it.

Imagine buying a cake and they misspell your name on it and give you the wrong frosting. But you paid full price. In your eyes it'd be: "Well, it's a good cake regardless!"

A remaster should be better than the original.

I know a girl who looks like thick momma. She's a freak (aged 22, already divorced, dated a 20 year old at 14, is driving on a suspended license, is fuck buddies with like four guys at work, likes eating ass, cut all her hair of and now wears a wig and lives with her parents in their six story mansion!)
 
For the sake of posterity, it seems that everything but two missions in Vice City was in a playable state when Rockstar pulled the trilogy remasters off their launcher. The missions that were broken are Gun Runner from Phil Cassidy, because the crates gun runners drop are indestructible, and Boomshine Saigon, the follow-up mission to the former simply due to it being inaccessible (though it could also be broken and we just don't know it). How do I know? Well, someone 100%-ed all three of them in a single sitting as soon as they dropped, allowing them to continue playing even as the games were taken off. The funniest part is that, in all three games, the rain isn't a separate entity from the player and moves with the camera.

I recently played through the Destroy All Humans remake and was blown away by the amount of effort that was put into it. Though some things could be argued like the caricature type faces of the humans as opposed to the original "better" looking ones. Overall it's 100x better than whatever the fuck this shit is.

I replayed all three GTA 3D games this Spring, PC ports modded with QoL and minor graphical fix improvements. GTA SA especially, after all these years, retained the same magic it did when I first played it. Drawn in to the story, and really forgot how well they set up the atmosphere especially in the early missions.

I’ve watched this thread with a mix of interest and horror. After spending the rest of Spring/Summer playing GTA V/online for the first time, then uninstalling it completely after realising what an utterly unfulfilling, toxic grindfest GTAO was, I reckon the GTA franchise is pretty much over.

Rockstar in retrospect reached the creative watermark for GTA in 2004. If I was a paranoid person, I would almost believe that pulling the original III/VC/SA from sale, and shitting out these fucking abominations in their stead was a deliberate ‘fuck you’ to the fans of the classics.
