So when's Bully 2 being released?

Likely never due to modern culture being vehemently against bullying (by guys, and even then victims can get punished for fighting back) and very low potential for microtransactions. Bully was made back when Rockstar gave a shit about experimental titles, these days they couldn't even be bothered with working on GTA VI until recently (I get rising development time & cost, but what the fuck have they done in the three years since RDR2 outside of GTA Online shit?).

According to this guy and kotaku Mafia 4 is being worked on and will be a prequal to the trilogy. He claims kotaku is a reliable source becuase they have a hangar 13 insider but I still don't buy it fully. Also the studio head left hangar 13 so I don't see that as a good sign.

A prequel is not a bad idea, as even the 1960s is too late a setting and part of the reason why I don't care about Mafia III, the whole point of the series is supposed to be classic suit clad, fedora wearing gangsters, 1920s gangsters? Fuck yeah!

The Mafia 1 remaster was actually really good, so rate me cautiously optimistic.

But I was under the impression that Mafia 4 was going to set in a Vegas style city? Presumably rat pack era, that sounded pretty plausible to me, unless the project was rebooted.

The figure head leaving doesn't really change whether it'll be worse or not. Hangar 13 is pretty much that bad.

At the risk of sounding like YOU, an underrated, yet controversial aspect of Mafia is the inclusion of uncensored Playboy centerfolds as collectibles. I say controversial as it's quite divisive of its portrayal of women and sex appeal.

However, I'd argue it's the beginning of second wave feminism with sexual revolution with class. It's just nude modelling without the sleaze of today's pornography.

Yeah, and they were only remaking the first 2, not all 3.

Plus, why specify the remake "the trilogy" when there's only 3 games. It's not like GTA where you have to specify which 3 games were remade, there are just 3 games.

There's a precedent with this with the Mafia Definitive Edition though. There was only one remake and the other two were shoddy remasters so I could see Rockstar letting Remedy remake the first two and then just cheaply "remaster" the third game.

It would need to be in an engine that's universal. III had issues with its open world engine because of translation issues between Hanger 13 and 2K Czech.
