Have you tried not being white? Put on some shoe polish and get some government gibbies.
Yeah I am a card carrying tribe member but my blood quantity card says I have very little and I don't live on the reservation. I've reached out to "my people" for assistance already.

Have you or your spouse considered applying for WIC? Since you have a baby this might be an avenue you can explore.
We are looking into that as well.

I tried to contact several union trades but none have responded.

I really am not sure how else to go about getting another job. I've applied to over 100+ and have only gotten about 2 interviews. I'm just getting kinda desperate, hence asking the farms.
Its a mind game. there have been points in my life where I have been desperate and hungry. . . its those moments you got to reflect on your own life choices how you got where you are what in my life is costing me so much money, you got to solve that first

Temp agencies always hiring sure you make shit money, but its a job you start off making shit money but if you apply yourself think of it as a gym membership where they pay you. Over a small amount of time you will be in better shape have some cash saved up and can look for other oppertunitties....

I know people who worked 30 years in Unions who still have nothing. its not about the job you have, its about how you waste your money and how much debt Liability you are chained to in your life. When you figure that out it gets alot easier..

Quit whatever shitty jobs you're working and get into Armed Security or Events Security. Security is a braindead job 90% of the time, all you do is sit around and check badges if you get the right spot. If you go through the training to get a Guard Card and certification to be armed you will get hella paid to basically do nothing. And it's everywhere. Banks and their armored trucks, stadiums, factories, etc. Many places want security so even if you don't get certified to be armed you can still stand around picking your nose and make 18 an hour if you work in a city that has that wage.

Look for sporting events nearby and the company they hire to work those to get your foot in the door and see if you can tolerate it. Because it is boring af, and you will be standing in one place for 8-12 hours, and you will be out in the elements and the weather with only what you bring to wear to protect you. Or you might get put on wanding and checking bins at the entrance of the event which is hectic and you'll never go fast enough for the supervisor to be happy. But if you are willing to work holidays and travel (the bus sucks but you can get anywhere if you're willing to go through the ordeal) you can make a pretty good wad.

There is basically always some kind of event to work in Events Security as an industry; music, sports, conventions and expos, any show of any kind basically. You might even get lucky and get to watch something you're interested in; I know people would specifically sign up for concerts of artists they liked and hope they got put indoors for example. Sports events you have the chance to be put in the stands so you can actually watch the game.

If you're willing to take the 10% chance of having to actually Do Your Job and intervene on an incident it's a good racket. Most times if something happens the real cops are 10 feet away and you get them to deal with it instead.

If you're already working 2 shitty jobs and are still close to starvation and homelessness you stand to lose nothing by trying to get into this instead. Fuck McDonalds or wherever else you're toiling part time. If you can get family to babysit, your wife could even work some events too. They hire anybody, up to and including people who smoke meth, to work events security in my experience with coworkers. And once you have a little Security experience to build your resume, you can get into better positions with better companies, and take the path to getting your certifications etc.

Definitely try finding a good church to help you out. A good church can help you out with food and clothes and baby stuff, and maybe childcare, and also perform magic rituals on your behalf. If you become known in the community, random people will do nice stuff for you. I lived in the bushes near a church and people started feeding me and now everything is great. I will talk to Jesus about your situation and it will get better. Believe me. I am living proof that Jesus will fix your life even if you do very stupid things over and over again. What kind of job do you want? I will ask Jesus, and you ask Jesus too, and it will happen. Something really cool is going to happen in your life very soon. Amen.

You should also be getting childcare services through a local CDC or authorized substitute.

I'll have to see who the Command Financial Planner is, never heard of it till just now.
Yeah if you live near the base you drill at try for the CDC. I think you're the lowest tier so not sure if you'll get in but it'll be a lot cheaper than what you're prob paying. Also if possible go to your commander and beg for active orders, I think every unit has some, they'll especially help you if you're about to go broke. You'll get BAH, BAS and your regular rank pay which if you're an E-4 is like 2k a month, so you'll come out with 3k+ a month (more technically because BAH/BAS isn't taxed) instead of the 2400 you're making.

Doing a RMC calculator, if you're an E-4 at 4 years on active duty with a zipcode in OK city (kind of a bad estimate because of the city making everything cost more), you'll be making this:

I know a woman who is a prison/jail guard and also is a national guard. I think they take anyone for prison guard jobs

Yeah, most everywhere is shortstaffed so the doors are wide open for a variety of people.

OP, if you live near the border with Texas you could easily get in with TDCJ as a COIV since you're in the NG. You will be starting at 3 grand a month and swimming in overtime.

Corrections is really good. I know people who did it to try and become cops but ended up staying because you get paid so much to pretty much sit around and watch drug addicts in a low security prison.

Thanks everyone that has responded to this thread. Between all these resources I've been made aware of, the money saving tips and I've somehow gotten a better job, we have stopped losing as much money and are well on our way to operating back in the black.
