What do you think of a Gondracorn???

For those who can't access DA:

"Okay... not the worst of the worst... there are some who do bad things. But still, as an artist... pretty low on the list of BORING ART.

Anyway, since I've been accused of some things, I think it's time to reintroduce myself as who I really am rather than what rumors say about me...

I am a disabled 22 year old adult with a brilliant number of disorders I'd rather not tell anymore (I've been bullied, yes). I have no living family around in this world anymore, and I currently live on the street due to being kicked out of my support place due to the rumors that spread about me like wildfire.

I am currently evading the police and the homeless shelters due to their restrictions on what you can do and where you can go.

Why the police? Because they take you to the homeless shelters of course!

I have an expiring library card, a few papers to draw on, a backpack with a few essential equipment, emergency cash (very low on funds).

I had a payee, but just recently, she moved me out of that company. I know the rumors were settled, but someone in the company started it all up again and messed me up for good.

So, hey, good to meet you all again. Sorry if I haven't been around often, a lot of weird things have been happening to me lately."

Does anybody know where this dude is? I don't want this dude sleeping on the streets. It's fucking December.

I want to help him out but I have no idea how or if I even could.
 
I wonder why he's afraid of homeless shelters. Certainly that would be better than the streets?

If it's a homeless shelter run by the Salvation Army they might be denying him because he might be gay, I don't know.

He's also obviously mentally ill, so it could be related to some weird idea he has in his head.

I'll add that it's actually pretty common for caregivers to use the threat of homelessness to elicit compliance from their charges. Like, you'd better shape up and fly right, or you'll end up in a homeless shelter where scary people will beat you up and steal your stuff.

If these people do become homeless, though, they're likely to fear and resist the assistance that's available to them. And if Gondracorn accurately represented his situation in the post quoted above, the content of his subsequent post indicates that either his housing situation has been resolved, or he is in dire need of an advocate.

A person capable of prioritizing his needs would not be e-begging for pixel art references when faced with such a crisis.

Can anyone find me a close reference?
To the Uniceros from Tales of Abyss. I'm wanting to pixel sprite it's wings... but I cannot find a pokemon/pegasus sprite that fits it's look for reference. Even though the images of Uniceros are pixelated somewhat, it's still too 3-D-ish to actually use as a reference. :/

Anyone could help me?

Well that's pretty sad. I hope that the rumors didn't have anything to do with him becoming homeless, because that's an incredibly shitty situation if they did. Well, I guess it is a terrible situation regardless, but you know what I mean.
 
Seeing as how Christmas is coming up, would anyone else like to try and help Gondy out? I'm not sure where he's located but getting a care package together for him would be a nice thing to do.

Seconded. I believe he's still in Boise, Idaho. Though that could have changed.

Should we include a dragon plush of some sort? These: https://www.etsy.com/listing/213852782/ships-after-christmas-build-a-dragon?ref=related-0 are very high quality, they aren't nearly as big as what he's after, but they're affordable and extremely well made.

You know, having read through this thread and gone from bemused to touched to disgusted to confused and then back to touched, I'd like to pitch in to a care package for this guy. And I think a little plush dragon is a lovely idea.

I don't know how we could organize it... it doesn't seem like there is enough of a following to have an official forum thing, and I'm not sure if anyone here that is high profile enough would be willing to pool funds together. If one of the mods could step up that would be awesome.

Gondy told me that he does not have a Paypal, but I'm going to send him an email today to see if he has a mailing address.
 
I hate to necropost, but I came across this a week or so ago. Looks like he is trying to start creating some sort of video game?
