I think it's pretty much a race to the bottom in both respects here.

I do feel sorry for her, to some degree, because I'm pretty sure she's been forced into a role that isn't her, and I'd be willing to bet her dad was abusive to her, if not physically, at least verbally. I really hope she can figure out who she really is at some point.

Wow, Florida really does breed crazy.

Although I did read an interesting dissertation that Florida in particular tends to attract scam artists and other lowlifes due to the way their legal system is setup. Florida does quite a few things differently than other states when it comes to laws and enforcing them (which is perhaps why Herr Tesch was able to live like he does).

That and a lot of elderly and people who don't speak English very well and are unfamiliar with the legal system. Arizona has both of these attributes too and is also a kind of grifty mecca.

Florida is also well known for having very generous exemptions to their bankruptcy laws. But with the kind of shit GerTech was pulling, you can do that sort of thing in many states if you have no interest in ever having a credit score above 300 again.

Clearwater, boca, scotsdale, and van nuys are all full of scammers, grifters, and douchebags.
