I entered a GoodReads giveaway that caught my eye and happened to win. Feast your eyes:
I am an avid book collector so this is welcome in my collection. However, just glancing through it, I don't think I could handle actually reading it. There are lots of repeated words and that is just what I saw on a 3 minute flip through.
:story: The black bar at the top of the cover, where they ran out of art. They couldn't shoop it or redraw it, even though it looks like high school student art.

Anti-masker Gloria spreads Corona all over Las Vegas.

At least we know this was actually filmed last year. How can they still afford vacations?
So...checking in on an old cow and I saw this video posted up. A Las Vegas trip can actually be really affordable if you know what to do and when to go.

Getting to Vegas: Southwest Airlines advertises $100 flights to Vegas all the time. Don't rent a car because almost every resort charges ridiculous parking fees. Besides, you can walk the entire length of the strip.

Staying in Vegas: A lot of the video was filmed at the Bellagio, one of the most expensive hotels on the strip, but that doesn't mean they stayed there. They most likely stayed at a much cheaper hotel, hence no video of the room itself (if you're fishing for clout, you'd show off a room at the Bellagio). The cheapest hotel nearby would be the Excalibur with rates as cheap as $34/day during the week. That brings up another point: there's no telling when they filmed. If you're smart and visiting Vegas, book your visit for Monday-Thursday, because that $34/day rate can shoot up to $234 on Fridays and Saturdays.

Food: Yes, Las Vegas has steakhouses, Hell's Kitchen, and Nobu...but it also has White Castle, In-and-Out, and grab-n-go places at the hotel.

The helicopter ride: Here is where the real cash is thrown. They most likely took a Maverick flight package at $470/person. They do a fly-by of the Hoover Dam and land on the Indian reservation (hence the teepee). There's really no way around the cost unless you sit through a fucking timeshare presentation so you get it for free. It's expensive as fuck, but it's also the only thing I saw that cost actual money in the video. Everything else was them walking around the Belagio or the Shops at Cesar's. They also did it late at night when the shops were all closed.

Total cost of the Tesch trip if you're being smart (not including food and an Uber to/from the airport): $850/person. Definetly doable if you're planning a trip a year out.

Remember how there's that video of that girl who filmed herself running around the theater at the Maradonia premiere and complained about being removed from the "director's cut"? King "Go For the Kill Apollyon" himself, Gustavo Perez, wanted to lay out some sage wisdom for the chick who admitted to watching the movie twice in a row...

Not going to lie, this made me chuckle.

So... they showed the exact same movie twice in a row and called one of them the "director's cut"? I would ask why, but that's so on brand for Gerry. This is like an even shittier version of The Room.

Any idea where her scene is?

I've tried looking, but I couldn't find an answer. I know Gerry basically railroaded the church congregation into working on and performing in this, but did the Most Beautiful Black Person in Maradonia ever get paid?

Last I saw, Gerry was telling her and her husband (guy who conjured the spirit of GArrrrrrYYYYYY!) that the "Check's in the mail."

I'm guessing almost no one got paid.

Well, I don't think they're getting it now.

Do you think King Aopllyon got paid? He didn't complain, but I think he's just awfully proud that this is his only acting credit.

What a find this is. Once again Kiwi Farms showcases what I never even heard of until now.

That was a movie? Looks like something made in someone’s backyard.

It's a movie based on a novel (unwillingly) written by a 13 year old girl that was then self-published by her father(a German minister involved in all kinds of strange activities regarding finances) and her Russian mother.
They then filmed the whole movie with mostly a shoestring budget (that apparently included not paying the actors etc.)
The whole thing was basically the quality of an essay at middle-school level with lots of padding and repetition made into a b-movie with atrocious acting and production value.
Her father tried to sell it to Hollywood but no one was biting and eventually a screener copy leaked(we've watched it here during movie-night years ago)
It's well worth a watch if you're into that sort of thing, although the star of this thread really is her father and his life of scams, including religious ones and exploiting a loophole that allowed them to stay rent-free in their Florida home for years before they could be evicted( I made a post about that somewhere in this thread).

Hey, check it out. Gloria's got a job. She's been working as a media specialist at Medanswers since 2017 and has a Bachelor's in communications. Good for her.
That's cool. She was never the cow her dad was.

Someone did a deep dive on Maradonia

I kind of feel bad for Gloria, because it feels like she wasn’t ready to publish anything but her parents pushed it onto her.

Edit: I made it to the end, and Gloria apparently renewed her rights to the Maradonia trademark?

There’s a part of me that wants her to reboot the series

Reading through her thread back in the day has been one of my favorite Farm experiences. It was a ride discovering how her wealth was a scam.

That was a really well-made video. I'm surprised that seems to be the only one on their channel since it seems too well-done to just be a one-off - I was expecting it was part of a whole Ruse Cruise series. Hopefully the person that made that makes some more videos in the future.
