Personally, my secret theory which is almost guaranteed to be false is that she's in on it. She's secretly a black widow using this as an excuse to fish for some rich old guy she can easily marry and poison or something. But since that might actually be interesting, it's probably not going to be true.

That would require a lifetime of careful planning and cunning on Gloria's part. All the way back through her childhood because, seriously, this has been going on for a long time.

Besides, that would make for a really good book or movie, and Gloria is simply incapable of creating one.

From observing Gloria, it seems that almost everything in her life was planned out by someone else. She is completely separated from any aspect of real decision making.

For her it seems, the one real significant choice or decision in her life was to make her movie. It did not turn out that well. An over protected sheltered girl is not going to have the depth to create a work of significant meaning. There has really never been any conflict or significant decision in her life.

Convertible is like a fucking funeral dirge. It's so tuneless and glum.

I kind of missed the 'funny' part. Was it the cheeseburger line? Because the only funny thing in that whole session of ear rape was her Iggy impression. You're from fucking Florida, Gloria. You're not from the streets of Compton.

I noticed something minor about Gloria's posts, but it's honestly a bit unsettling.

Every single person who comments on her posts and selfies are thirsty guys and/or possibly creeping creepers. Every single commenter. I wouldn't have even noticed if majority of the commenters were guys, but all of them? Does she not have girl friends or BFF's? No comments like "girl you are so pretty!" or "OMG you look great! xoxo"?

I know I'm exaggerating (and possibly being a tad sexist), but it comes across like her actual social circle is kinda small, as opposed to how she portrays it online.

I've never seen a genuine conversation between her or any friends on any social media. There is every possibility that I've missed something, but after all these caps, you'd have thought I'd seen one by now.

I never thought of this before, but you are totally correct.

Although, if you think about it from her friends' (and I'm using the term theoretically) standpoint, it makes perfect sense. Go-Glo needs to always be the center of attention. The person in the foreground of the pics, the one in the center of the crowd, the one in the spotlight. Other folks (both men and women) might put up with that for a little while and try to have some fun, but on a 24/7 basis? No one wants to always be pushed off to the side and to be forced to listen to Glo-Glo talk incessantly about her books, and her movie, and her modeling, and her rap career.

At best, she might have some acquaintances and/or party friends, but I doubt she has any real friends.

If she's following in her father's footsteps as a professional grifter, she probably doesn't get attached because people to her are tools to be used and discarded as soon as they're no longer beneficial. If she does have friends, maybe she keeps her "work" life and personal life completely separate, to keep the trolls away. I doubt that though, that would require a level of planning she doesn't seem to be capable of.

Someone up thread said they're on glorias private facebook and she has a bunch of asspatters there. Also, I was poking around her instagram and found it odd that she has 23k+ followers but very few comments proportional to that.
Also @DrChristianTroy I'm curious as to your impression of glorias new... uh... music.

More likely than not a lot of them are phantom accounts. There are legitimate marketing websites in terms of increasing your Twitter/Instagram followers. In general they offer seeds/credits or they will offer premium exposure. The viewers are the ones that decide on whether to follow you or not.

This is what I've been saying for the past thirty pages or so. None of Gloria's "friends" display any shred of support for her artistic endeavors (aside from being in the movie, which I suspect is due to more selfish reasons than to aid a friend). They can't even be bothered to leave a message on her public pages.

People tend to attract like-minded people. It could be that these friends are just as shallow and self-centered as Gloria and also view her as a means to an end insofar as their own artistic prospects are concerned. Personally, I'd love to see their interactions first hand. Just to get a sense of what their "friendship" actually looks like.

Asspatters don't mean shit, though. Just look at ADF's FaceBook page. They'll give him all the "likes" he wants, but won't lift a finger should he need legitimate help.

And she has 23k followers the same way that Kengle has 3k followers on Twitter.

What do you do when your parents are basically con artists who made a lifetime out of screwing the system?

With one big difference: Kengle's followers are legit.

Gloria's friends post on her personal Facebook account not her public page.

I can't picture Gloria having a private Facebook page. She just doesn't seemed to be interested in anything other than attention.

A while back someone ran a Twitter audit on Kengle's account and found that something like 95% of his followers are automated bots or fake accounts. I don't know if a similar site exists for auditing Instagram or Facebook followers, but I wouldn't be surprised if Gloria gets similar figures.
