Looks like Mommy and Daddy spent all their money on promoting her book and she had to go to Dr. Nick for her boob job.

I'm not trying to body-shame Tesch here, it's just that ... man, it looks like she's thrusting. Like, she's trying to get attention. There're better ways to do that. I mean, she looked more dignified rolling around on a beach in her bikini.

These are just a couple of reasons why Gloria doesn't have friends.

That's the funny thing: we can prove that she doesn't have friends. Sure, she probably has people who play nice with her or are attempting to scam her on some level, but no actual friends. Let me explain:

One of my friends hosts a bunch of local poetry readings. Some nights are outright failures due to poor (or no) turnout, but he's a good friend so I make an effort to go and contribute to these events. He, in turn, encourages me to keep writing outside my comfort zone (I'm not a poetry person). The point is: we support each other, especially when things are rough.

The only people who actively participate in Gloria's social media presence are either related to her by blood or fellow cows. I have never seen one of Gloria's so-called peers leave a remark on the numerous posts that are shared here. These "girlfriends" can't even be bothered to pretend to like her books.

I'd almost feel bad if she wasn't such a raging bitch to everyone she meets.

her twitter is such a gold mine. But I agree, she definitely doesn't have friends. Her writing reflects that- Maya's relationships with other women are based on nothing more than proximity. She's friends with the other female character's because they exist and they happen to be around Maya. That's how all of Gloria's friendship seem to go. She gets invited out to a boat party by some guy who wants some more eye candy. She poses with the other women for photos. She posts the photos. She tags the women as her friends. That's it. That's how she socializes.

Love the juxtaposition with those tweets. Maradonia is 3400 pages of a clanging lack of self-awareness, but it's nice to have such a clear reminder of her vacuity.

Anyone know if she's still doing her music?

It really is sad that she's 23 and she doesn't even realize that she doesn't have friends. She's been insulated by daddy's money her whole life, and it seems like it's always been a replacement for companionship for her. Those expensive cars and stuff make her so happy because they're her crutch.

It's not A-Logging if it's true. Besides, when you look at the way she was raised, how could she turn out any way but?

Just like OPL, Mommy and Daddy Tesch praised to the high heavens the slightest thing Glo-Glo did. Problem is, the Tesch family obviously has an insane amount of disposable income which, in a way, makes them even worse parents that Bob and Barb. When little Glo-Glo came home with a story she wrote, instead of posting it on the fridge, Mommy and Daddy Tesch paid money to have it printed and bound (I refuse to call that "publishing") and then went so far as to buy a production company and fund a movie.

When you take an average -- if somewhat vacuous and insipid -- teenaged girl, treat every word she vomits onto a page as gold, and then throw a shit-ton of money at her, doesn't it stand to reason that she may turn out a wee bit ... conceited? And when said girl also turns out to be (and lets give the devil his due here) physically attractive? She's definitely going to see herself as the center of her universe, with everyone else around her just there to support the greatness that is Glo-Glo. (Again, not unlike OPL.)
