Something that has been bugging me: Why do Gloria's Instagram links go through IFTTT? Most of the time, I've only seen this happen when *ahem* highly paid Web 2.0 Social Media Gurus do Social Media Guru moves that require Very Web 2.0 Things.
...I can only assume this means the parents have set up the system to notify them. Cellphone goes bing, and they freak out along the lines of "omg we must tell our little Gloria that someone clicked the Instagram link omg omg omg" and next time Gloria visits them they throw a big glamorous party, with a big banner that says "someone clicked on the link".

Her parents are divorced and she lives with her husband now. It's entirely possible that Marina is still running her social media, though.

just some brokeass venture capitalists trying to crowdfund their phone app and Gloria was dumb enough to give them some money.
Almost correct. It *is* a broke-ass company trying to crowdfund their phone app (FYI - venture capitalists are the ones who *provide* money to start-ups) but Glo-Glo wasn't dumb enough to give them money; they were dumb enough to hire Glo-Glo.

Go to the bottom of the page. Glo-Glo is listed as a "Social Media Marketer", complete with the "world's youngest novelist" bio she's been using ad nauseam. Since I can't believe any legitimate company would be desperate enough to hire her, I'm guessing Gerry is involved one way or another...

Gloria Tesch is a published author, model and advocate with a robust social media following. She published two novels at the age of thirteen, earning her the distinction of being the world’s youngest novelist. 'Maradonia and the Seven Bridges' and 'Maradonia and the Escape from the Underworld', set up a sweeping epic journey into a fantastical world of magic and power. By 15, she published her first five books.

Dear God... She actually got someone outside of herself and her dad to say that.

I can't believe she still calls herself the worlds youngest author after all of these years.
I'm not trying to claim that Maradonia is any great work of art but, as hokey as it may have been, at least Glo-Glo accomplished something by sitting down at a keyboard and putting words on paper (unless the book was ghosted). Other than that, what else has she done that she can take pride in?

As a film producer, she created a fantasy movie that would have been laughable by the standards of the 1980's.

Her biggest modeling job was posing nearly nude for a synthetic marijuana website.

AFAIK, she's only had one live performance as a rapper, at that horrible nightclub in (I think) Atlanta?

Beyond that, she worked at a third-rate Hooters knockoff, dropped out of community college, and was a reverse mail-order bride.

Sad as it may be to say, Maradonia represents Glo-Glo at her apex.

LMA fucking O. Her Linkedin lists her as a "book author" with AGS Group International.

Also is it me or does the photo below of them look a little weird? I'm no expert in photoshop so I can't tell, but are they actually there? Or have they cut themselves out and put them in a vineyard? Shouldn't we be able to see the sun from the angle of the shadows?

Y'know, one way or the other, she (and whomever is working with her) has been so dishonest that, frankly, they could actually be standing right there, authentic dirt beneath their feet, but then one would have to question why, and how did they get there, and who took the picture. It's like, everything they do is suspect now.

"Working hard? Or hardly working?"

Oh, I think we all know the answer to that, Glo-Glo.

Isn't calling yourself a "published author" much less "book author" a red flag its some shitty self publishing thing?
Since she did actually write a book (unless it was ghosted) Glo-Glo *is* technically a book author. (After all, you can sit down at home, write a short story or a shitty poem, and call yourself a "writer".) But, yeah, since the books were self-published, it's a bit of a stretch for her to say she's been published since, to most folks, "published" equates to a publishing house and distribution and being in bookstores and whatnot.

The thing I've been questioning is whether Glo-Glo is (i) so delusional that she thinks Daddy Tesch paying for her book to be bound and printed makes her "published" or (ii) in on the con and was just trying to keep the wheels turning on the Maradonia hype machine.

Dear God... She actually got someone outside of herself and her dad to say that.

I'm guessing the group asked her to provide her own blurb and she (or her mom) spit that one out, and the group didn't give a shit about what was submitted.

As an aside, that start-up seems useless, in concept. From what I gather, as it stands, it is simply an app-based WebMD that focuses specifically on infertility. Why anyone would want that instead of a more useful, general purpose, not-just-for-infertility app boggles my mind.

Hardly surprising they picked out Gloria for social media marketing, though, if the core concept also hasn't been thought out that well. Maybe they thought this video is legit, aside from her youngest author claims:

I like how every episode of Event Entertainment America has her interviewing burned face man over and over.
