The fuck are you even supposed to do with a duck
You can keep it as a pet. They will follow you around everywhere. It can lay eggs too but not as often as chickens. They are a bit more intensive to take care of than chickens which can essentially start feeding themselves as soon as they hatch

Dude. ..what would she even do with them?

You can buy ducks/geese/chickens, but they require care and grown ducks (especially the males) can be pretty vicious .
This is a pretty bad gift, although the image is likely nicked anyway so that won't be a problem.
But why would she post pictures of ducks and not dogs or cats? Maybe the duck thing is big in rural Russia and Marina thought it would be so cute to put the picture on Glorias account?

I can't help but wonder: how much better off financially would Gloria and her mother be if you took all of the money they've spent on appearing well off and keeping up appearances and invested it wisely?

I mean, the money required to mantain the image isn't as much as living that lifestyle, but I'm sure it adds up.

Does this include the debt they went into to shoot Maradonia and several music videos? If so, then -- well, it's likely A LOT.

The Maradonia movie is of course astoundingly awful and full of bad amateur acting, but unlike many other horrible low-budget films which are just slapped together, they actually seemed to put a lot of time and effort into making it "an epic." Point is, unless Gunther found investors, the production costs, stock footage, editing, effects and post would have cost them many tens of thousands. When Gunther was trying to sell it at the Los Angeles Film Market, he genuinely seemed desperate. I doubt they shot it just to pad Gloria's image: they probably imagined it would make them rich or at least make back the investment. They think if they can somehow elevate Gloria to celebrity status, they can profit from that. Given the Kardashian/Teen Mom world we live in, this belief isn't as delusional as we might think.

Try almost a million. According to Gunther, in an e-mail I sent under an assumed name, he admitted that it was close to $800K. Where he got the money is another story altogether. This is why when he was in LA trying to sell it said he wouldn't let it go for less than a million.

It's a piece of shit and he won't get a dime for it.
