I genuinely feel bad for girls on Facebook who constantly post model-selfies, and whose only friends are creepy guys who leave thirsty-ass comments.

It seems if they didn't want the creepy comments, they'd quit posting the shit that encourages them, or just ban relentless creeps.

God, Gloria just looks so uncomfortable in every modeling shot Marina posts. Just look at her eyes. Girl is terrified.

I'm noticing a pattern here.

I'm on the fence as to whether or not Gloria's in on the "land a sugar daddy" scheme or if it's all Mama Tesch, but if she's really being forced into this, I'm waiting for her to hijack her Facebook account from her mom and start screaming at all the thirsty creeps. That would be hilarious to watch.

I think she could be really pretty if she either got her overbite corrected or learned to smile in a way that minimized it. Other than that, her face is symmetrical and any other issues could be addressed with makeup.

Her figure and hair are very attractive.

Said it before and I'll say it again, she's a bit of a butterface. She requires soft lighting so some of the flaws can be hidden.

If Gloria is destined to go full Venus Angelic I don't think it's going to happen until after Grandpa Tesch dies of either old age or an "unfortunate accident". So long as Herr Tesch is alive I doubt Gloria's programming will give out. Once he's dead, however, things could get interesting, but who knows. Marina could very well be a psychotic bitch behind closed doors.

I agree that the majority of Glo-Glo's photos look uncomfortable and overly posed but I'm not sure if that's fear in her eyes. When I look at her photos, I don't see any recognizable emotion in her eyes; it's almost like looking at a mannequin or a statue.

When we smile, we subconsciously go through a series of facial muscle movements: the corners of our mouths rise, our cheeks elevate, our eyes crinkle slightly, and so on. (It used to be called a "facial flash"; think of the face you make when you meet a friend you haven't seen in a while.) In both of the photos that were posted, even though Glo-Glo looks to be smiling, that smile stops at her mouth. Cover up her mouth and tell me if there is any recognizable emotion on the rest of her face. Kinda creepy, really.

Her smile is very practiced. It's all in her mouth, nothing in her eyes. And while a lot of models do this - look at any swimsuit issue - it seems very false here. Tyra Banks doing it seems like modeling, Glo doing it looks like she's processing it as "I saw a girl do this on a magazine" and no one is correcting or helping that mindset.

As to her having "butterface", I wouldn't say that. She's attractive - but in the most generic way possible. I'd be into her if I wanted to fuck cheerleaders, Britney Spears (circa 2002) or any number of female extras on Baywatch. I still think she had some work done on her though.

I agree. I think she's had some facial work done, and I'm not sure, but I think she's got implants.

"Generically attractive" is probably the best way to describe Glo-Glo. She's not unattractive but she has absolutely nothing to set her apart from the sea of tall, thin, big-boobed blondes out there. As other posters have already pointed out, if she ever decides to move to Hollywood, she's going to be eaten alive.

And, as far as work on her goes, I'm almost certain she's had a boob job.

Speaking strictly from the perspective of knowing what she wants to do professionally, I have to agree entirely. I don't consider Gloria unattractive, but if she were to get work done on her face (nose and cheeks, primarily), the result wouldn't be the reveal of this stunningly beautiful woman whom we never saw before. We'd see an average-looking woman with presentable attributes, virtually indistinguishable from the crowd around her.

I'd be curious to know who the hell proposed plastic surgery in the first place...

And when it was done (if ever). Most doctors don't like doing surgeries of this type on younger people because they're still "growing into their bodies".

(Exceptions exist, of course. I'm pretty sure the girl who played Punky Brewster had to have a major breast reduction before 18. But that doesn't apply here.)

I don't think that's true at all. If plastic surgeons wanted to help people, they would have gone into a different field of medicine. While I'm sure there are some reputable ones out there, the majority of plastic surgeons seem more than happy to take stupid peoples' money for performing frivolous procedures on them.

Hell, back in the 80's, a lot of Jewish girls got nose jobs as their Bat Mitzvah present. And, more recently, Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory made news when she admitted that she got a boob job at 18. If Glo-Glo and/or her parents decided she was going to have a boob job, I'm sure they would be able to find a doctor who had no ethical dilemma about performing the procedure on a girl in her late teens/early twenties.

Plastic surgery is not a field to be scoffed at or demonized. You know those foundations that send doctors to poor countries to do simple, cheap surgeries on cleft lips and pallets that these people can't otherwise get for their children? Those are all plastic surgeons. Someone is disfigured in an accident or by disease? Plastic surgeons can re-construct their body in order to improve the patient's quality of life. Yes, there's a branch of plastic surgery devoted to making bank by catering to the rich, but there are plenty of plastic surgeons who go into the field in order to legitimately help people.

Still, it's true that those surgeons working in the vanity side of the industry will probably be more inclined to work on someone as young as Gloria for superficial reasons provided she or her parents can pay. That's the big unknown factor here: how the hell did the bankrupt Tesch family scrape together the thousands of dollars needed to get poor Glo-Glo plastic surgery?

I remember reading somewhere that the minimum age for breast implants (at least in the US) was 12 or 13.

I wish I didn't know that.
But most reputable plastic surgeons will advise potential patients to not get any work done until the age of 18-20, when the body stops developing.

The only across-the-board exception I've heard of for breast augmentation being performed on anyone younger is if someone has noticeably asymmetric breasts.

You are correct; I was wrong to say that all (or most) plastic surgeons are in it for the money. It was really only the vanity surgeons of whom I was thinking, and it was not fair of me to include those who help burn victims or people with cleft palates in that group. Your rebuttal was very well stated.
