So Gloria posted some Semi-topless shots. They're pretty tame, but seeing as she wanders around the Florida rave scene in just a bra, I think it'll probably escalate from there.

I love the 180 she did from "World's Youngest Author/ Most Alpha Gifted Child in The World" to party raver girl.

For some reason I suddenly find her writing much better. 8-)

She's got some nice participles.

Srs though, nothing new. How much longer before whatever modeling world she's entered is done with her?

When Gloria refuses to show her jugs in full nipple-rama 'as she's a moral upstanding Christian girl' despite pretty much showing us them anyway.

God damn this forum! I thought she was wearing a diaper for a second.

I thought she was taking a piss. Either way I don't think it's an especially sexy picture aside from visible panties and the open shirt.

Probably a year, maybe two. If that. She's a decently pretty girl and all, but not really 'big name model' material.

That actually says a lot about us.

Well, considering Maya and Joey starved and tortured the Maradonian army... I mean she never even said what the evil Empire did that was so evil.
They...loved the environment.

Which, for some reason, is a no-no for fundies.

The world is going to end in our lifetime and the world was put here BY GOD AND JESUS for us to use up. Ergo environmentalism is against the Bible.

Gloria's posted an "update" on the Maradonia movie that doesn't show us anything new or behind the scenes like the title promises. It just seems to be yet another reaction to people speculating whether or not the movie's still being worked on. Damn, the Teches don't really understand what responding to criticism means, do they? Of course they don't.

Also those faux-topless pictures are creepy. Besides the fact that the pose is unflattering, as others have said, I'm actually creeped out by them for some reason. Maybe it's because I know her mother's taken some pictures of her in swimsuits, and am hoping against hope that she didn't take this one too. But I have to laugh at how much she's willing to show and still calling herself a 'good Christian girl'. How much longer before she goes full topless?

I have been reading this thread for the past several minutes, and I felt I should throw my two cents into the ring.

I'm an aspiring writer. I have an autism spectrum disorder, but I doesn't define me as a person. I struggle with depression, but I try to see the light. I haven't written much, but I hope to. I consider my writing to be a form of therapy, a means of exercising my demons. The thing is, despite how much I focus on world building and the psychology of my characters, I don't let it overtake my life. I don't let it consume me. Gloria, spoiled little girl that she is, has let her fantasy become her reality. Sad, really.

^Everybody's got talent, Harry. You just need to figure out the right way to utilize it.

True, but any creative talent she may have got nipped in the bud when her parents confused "support" with "throwing money and endless praise at your daughter's every whim."

If I had to make any other conjecture about her other talents, I'd say she's probably average at a lot of things she's tried her hand at. The only hitch there, though, is that lolcows despise being average.

That's the problem with a lot of children like Gloria; they feel like they own the world when they, tragically, know little to nothing about how it really works.

This makes me seriously wonder, how Gloria would have fared as an author if her parents had not rushed to get her book published. She was only what, 14 at the time of her first book? If I were her mom I'd have encouraged her to write, but to also edit a lot, and to read other people's books to learn about pacing, dialogue, and so on and so forth. There is no way I would ever let my kids (if I had any) get published before they turn 18 (because after that they can do whatever they want since they're legal adults and don't need my permission for it)

If I noticed that my kid was getting a lot of negative feedback or razzing for their book, I'd do some investigation to make sure it was legitimate criticism, not just trolling, and read the book myself to see where that crit was coming from and what exactly is being criticized.

I can not think of any modern writers who published anything worth reading before their mid twenties, at the very least. Most people - with the exception of prodigies - are not developed enough as human beings, let alone writers.

For example, the new YA fantasy series, THE BONE SEASON, is written by a 21-year-old, and it sucks balls. (I'd love to know Gloria's opinion of THE BONE SEASON girl; a girl around her age who actually got published.)

Took the words right out of my mouth. Great post!

Mary Shelley was 16 when she wrote Frankenstein.

AUGH YEAH

(then again she knew several accomplished writers who most likely helped her out quite a bit)

I like to imagine her like Chris in that regard, where she'd think The Bone Season was good, but not as good as anything she could produce, in the same way Chris thought his redraws of fanart were better than the originals. But realistically, I don't think Gloria has quite that much hubris. I am curious to know what she thinks of other, legitimately published, authors around her age. Is she happy for their success? Does she not care? Does she think they're haterz? (I hate that word but she seems to like using it much in the same way Chris uses the word troll).

I was looking for a blog post by another young author discussing Gloria, but I can't find it among all the other crap Gloria's put out. I did come across this ebook version of Maradonia and the Escape from the Underworld (am I right in assuming anyone can put stuff up for sale there? Because I can't see any other reason it would be on here). One review, from "DoctorGerhard" has the awesome line, "The new E-Book version of Maradonia and the Seven Bridges hit my brain and burned a big hole into my soul."
