What's odd about it is Gerry had just emailed 57r34K that it would never be released because something bigger was in the offing with the Chinese version. Now, by emailing back to say it might be released, if it's just a lie, he's actually reverted to what would be a less impressive lie. This's the only reason I see for any optimism.

Forgot, but 57r34K actually talked to Gerry on the phone originally. Can't believe I failed to comment on the irony of Gerry saying, "We get so many crazy people calling, you have no idea!"

They probably read the first book and figured they'd be throwing their money away.

I tried contacting Herr Tesch but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I'm thinking I'm not the only one that tried to buy a copy of the movie directly from them. First time for everything I guess.
I've contacted small time filmmakers before and gotten semi-professional DVDs of some hard to find and out of print movies. It's not that hard to do and most of them are actually happy to send you a bare bones copy if it means money and more people seeing it.

I call BS on the golfing. No gloves, bags... Was this photoshopped peewee golf? Though the thought of her teetering on those wedges trying to lean in for a putt makes for a great mental image.

Golf bags are at the back of the cart. What likely happened is this: UberScrn was the one who rented the cart and paid for green fees for himself. It costs about $20 in the evening and cart rental is $10. This is without any type of discounts or groupons or whatever. No marshal in their right mind would let them onto the greens in those shoes, so Glo-Glo and NuRed snuck onto the course.

This is what I was thinking that they weren't so much invited as they just snuck on for a photo opportunity. Or they possibly waited in the clubhouse for their chance to do so.
 
I fear we may have reached peak cow with Gloria and are now on the decline. Unless her movie gets released or she actually makes the new one in China, or we uncover some scandal about her marriage, we're stuck putzing around with this small stuff like her social media shitposts. The problem is Gloria rarely if ever releases anything. Meanwhile Ali Rapp over there is literally cucking and pimping out her husband. Glo Glo just can't compare.

My money is on they actually went golfing/or just payed for it but Gloria had a change of shoes to take a photo in.

I'm more annoyed that they drove up to the green instead of leaving the cart on the path.

In that outfit? Do public courses not have a dress code of sorts?

And quite honestly, golf is not something I can see Glo-Glo doing unless it's of the mini-putt variety. Remember she's all about appearances and the photo-op trying to show others how rich and carefree her life is. Rich people play golf therefore Glo-Glo must play golf and dere she is! Maybe I'm wrong and she does play but the whole thing reeks of artifice as far as I'm concerned.
 
I worked at a hoity toity members only golf club for three years. She totally could've gotten away with that, except the shoes.

Interestingly, the members at that golf club were the worst people I've ever met.

The times I have gone golfing I have seen women (and some men) in outfits that don't work for playing golf at all. As @Butta Face Lopez said, she could have gotten away with that outfit depending where she went, and I really think she had the shoes stashed away to take this picture.

I also don't think Gloria actually golfed, at least not properly. The "friend" is dressed appropriately, has a shirt with a neck cuff, etc. I wonder if Gloria called up someone she knows and asked them if they wanted to "play golf" only to show up and realize, no, they wouldn't be playing golf... but playing playing golf.

If so hope the friend was able to get a few proper holes in since I doubt Gloria would have payed for her.

Funny because where I worked she wouldn't have been allowed onto the green. She could have gotten away with it had she been in the clubhouse drinking white wine with the rest of the nouveau riche and nibbling on her bruschetta all the while complaining about her new diet and yada yada yada.

But I'll agree with you that they were some of the worst people I ever met. Part of that is why I can't stomach the idea of playing golf.

Gloria has always been a more subtle cow (or as subtle as a cow can get, at any rate). The "they're actually poor con artists" reveal was huge, but that's probably the most "exciting" this thread will ever get until someone wrangles a copy of the film. For me, Gloria is fun to watch because she's not a raging psycho. It's a much more lovable kind of crazy than what we usually see around here.

Plus the fact that her parents seem to be pulling all the strings adds all kinds of weird factors into the mix. I think there's a chunk of us playing the long game in regards to the Tesch clan. It's going to be particularly interesting to see what happens when Herr Tesch drops dead. Which, considering his age, might be sooner rather than later.

Agreed, although I am personally waiting for the time when Glo-Glo's Potemkin village comes crashing down and she's forced to deal with reality head on. (Which, TBH, may be shortly after Gunther dies.)

The new novel looks like more medieval shit, based on that duel clip she posted. Not sure if there will be another music video since she broke up with the DJ guy who made the last one after he was no longer of use to her in true gold digger style.
 
This thread is one that makes me more sad than anything. Her life just seems really, really bleak. Essentially being pimped out to a man who is over twice her age (and who obviously she's not attracted to). Being so concerned about appearances and making people think she has a glamorous life. I'd love to see her get far, far away from her parents, honestly.

That said--I kind of admire her? I know her books are absolute shit, but I have to give her credit: a lot of people think they can write a book (and many people have excellent book ideas) but relatively few actually sit down, do the work, and write it. She actually did it and made something. Sure, it might be bad, but she's done something a lot of people--including many of us here--will never do.

Anyways, Gloria is just a sadcow. It's going to be even worse when she inevitably gets knocked up and is stuck in the life she's in. :(
